I sold Cutco knives door to door back in 1982. They were the best and still are. These shears cut bones and are the best for all uses requiring scissors in the preparation of meals in the kitchen. The edge stays sharp long. The sharpening guarantee with Cutco has gone down the tubes. During Covid they send me a knife sharpener that ruined one of my knives. Now you must pay for shipping there and back and it's not inexpensive (unless you compare to the cost of the Cutco product, which is expensive). Great, high quality products. The handles are same material as a bowling ball. Get the serrated steak knives as they never go dull because they have the tips of the serrations to protect the real edge.     • Last scissors you need
These scissors cut through anything. When you are done, they separate for easy cleaning. They are also guaranteed for life. I was using them to cut back roses by the corner of the house and left them sitting behind me on the driveway. My son backed his car out of the garage and ran over them. They still worked, but felt very sticky as if they were slightly bent. I called Cutco. They gave me an address to mail them to. Two weeks later, I got brand new scissors back. My kitchen scissors keep disappearing so I bought another pair. They are by far the best scissors in the house. 10$ less if you buy direct from cutco. Expensive but worth it.

I bought these to replace the pair I had for over 20 years because a guy my husband & I hired to come do some floor work in our home stole them. Thanks dude. Anyway, the pair I did have - like I said, I had for over 20 years and they were our go-to scissors for EVERYTHING. It's astonishing that these things can cut through just about anything and after over 20 years of abuse they were still going strong. Title says it all. I use it to cut open food packaging, cut fish, cut vegetables, cut chicken and everything else in the kitchen. These are commercial quality and appears to be made to last forever.
