This is a relatively small and compact unit. The 'dials' are old school and I like that, easy to read. The timer makes a 'countdown ticking sound' which is not an issue for me. As with all cooking devices, keep an eye on them while you are cooking or at least become familiar with the heat settings. This is a small oven, it will heat up quickly and become very hot, overly hot while baking - just a heads up. My Kenmore oven has never had a consistent temperature, ever. Always have to watch what your cooking, same applies here. I've gone through a half dozen toasters that are all a piece of garbage, how difficult can it be to make a toaster that can 'evenly' toast your bread? Answer - pretty difficult. Well, this airfryer has a wonderful toast setting, again - keep an eye on it until you are familiar and comfortable with the settings. Toast comes out PERFECT. Potatoes come out amazing, haven't cooked much more than that so far but heating things up is quick with the convection setting and I no longer have to get my big oven up to temperature. Sides stay warm, top front, very warm, top middle and top back do get hot! The back of the unit is warm. It's light enough to move into place if you don't want to keep it on your counter all of the time. Even has little hand grips, well balanced too. I would suggest covering your drip tray with a sheet of aluminum foil, mine got christened with oil, and of course it'll never come off. Absolutely pleased with this. I love this little oven. It fits nicely on the counter. Easy to use and cooks like a charm. Manual is useful and written clearly. The oven is very user friendly. I baked cookies for the first time without burning a single one. The interior light is perfect to watch the final couple of minutes to get the perfect golden glow on your cookies. The timer has a range of times but lacks exact minute settings....why the light helps for the final bake. Grills like a charm and provides a crisp air fry on meat or potatoes. All in all, I recommend this oven as a stand alone or in addition to a larger stove oven. It can cook almost anything, pizzas, pies, cookies, meats, fries and grills nicely. ... show more

I was looking for a versatile small oven to replace an old toaster oven. This one works really well and has many different features. Everything comes out to clean it up. I like the convection oven. We were excited about this Cuisinart countertop AirFry/Convection Oven until we realized we should have done more shopping. It does not have a reheat feature or a rotisserie. Directions don't even state how to reheat anything. There is a warm feature but directions barely refer to it and don't indicate how to use use warm feature. The 2 households that kept prodding us to get an AirFryer love using theirs to reheat. This oven dries out food too, especially toast. We have made toast using all different settings and it always results in very dry toast. Pizza baked exactly to directions would have burned if we had baked it as long as indicated. Pizza was also very dry. The burnt baked ziti pictured was rescued ten minutes before time setting, good thing we checked! ... show more

I think the Cuisinart Air Fryer oven does it all! My only gripe is it’s difficult to clean spills. I use a small piece of aluminum on the tray when cooking and that helps. It’s great in the summer that you don’t have to turn on your oven. The Cuisinart bakes, broils, airfyers and even toasts. I just ordered the accessories kit which comes with muffin pans and pots to use in the oven. ... show more

this replaced an older style air fryer.glass door is great feature.the older air fryer had to be opened up to see what was cooking.3 year warranty not offered by other brands.the only complaint is smart phone needed to activate warranty.mail in warranty card should be included.

This replaced an old toaster oven we had had for years. Even the old oven had a fan and did a good job of "air frying". This one works better because it comes with the basket that sits over the tray. The oil drains into the tray and makes much better reheats, etc. I don't care for the timer feature, I'd rather use Alexa and do it manually. No option here, you must twist the timer knob to get it started. This detracts from pre-heating, so you have to consider that in your timing. One redeeming factor however is that you can twist the timer knob clockwise to stop the oven. I'm sure this is some safety feature to prevent someone from walking away with the oven on. Also, as soon as you open the door the heat stops. Again, I'd much rather handle this myself. This oven is considerably more powerful than our old one. Why does this matter? Well for one thing I've had to adjust my cooking times and temps. For example, frozen biscuits. If you follow the instructions and bake at 375 you will burn the outside and the inside will still be raw. After experimenting I've found that 300 for a few minutes longer works best. I'm okay with this, it just takes some getting used to. I also will say that even on BAKE the fan still runs though somewhat slower. I thought at first this was a defect, maybe not. Overall, it seems to be a good oven and we have a number of Cuisinart appliances though they are all made in China they seem to be good quality. As for cleaning, we baked some sweet potatoes with foil on the tray and they leaked a couple of spots on the pan. We could not get those spots off and the instructions say NOT to put the pan in the dishwasher. We consider this oven an upgrade and it certainly looks better than the old one which is the only reason we got rid of it. ... show more

Easy to clean, little challenge when removing trays from unit, tend to slip down- must use mittens. but i love it, food is more tastier. Air fried chicken or fish is delicious. cant wait to try baked pastries.
