  • Great combo and compact
Style: AirFryer
I’ve read almost all the reviews on this and don’t understand all the negativity. We’ve had this microwave now for 3 weeks. We don’t have a ton of countertop space but it fits nicely in a corner and looks so sharp. You don’t air fry the glass and don’t microwave the metal basket and plate. The user guide was helpful to read first. I have no problem using the interface, but my husband did his first time trying it. I find if microwave directions have a range of time, the food needs the longer range of the recommended time in this machine. But food still cooks nicely. Love trying out the air fry options that have opened up to us! This is best for a single, couple, or small family household. It’s not a huge microwave but the size and power of it are clear in the description. So far, we are enjoying it. ... show more

  • major innovation in microwave market
Style: AirFryer
pro: small footprint; combo cooking options; multi power options on most features; good quality stainless accessory pan and air-fry basket; lower EMF leakage (750 W vs 1100 W MW power, but not a problem); easy clean stainless interior; in spite of small footprint (but check height) it is deep enough for 9" plates con: has intermittent "buzz", or vibration sound in door clasp in some multi modes (which could be eleviated with a small viton seal around door front, which probably skipped for moisture release). Not sure why, but moisture buildup more than standard sized 1100W models🤔 Overall, good price especially for all the new capabilities. Saved counter space as it replaced small toaster oven and air-fryer. Some learning curve (more capability choices), but large format "quick sheet", suitable for fridge mounting provided. You'll need it. Digital menu and combo dial (choice select or time) well thought out. I found no comparable product in this space. Kudos to engineers. ... show more

  • After some time....not bad for being so small.
Style: AirFryer
While I remain disappointed by the membrane button panel on this thing (mushy, difficult), the rest is about as good as you can expect for the size, I think. Some more thoughts: Update after a few weeks....things I like: + Narrow (I was looking for a unit to go in a 45º corner cabinet and this one is smaller laterally than the typical 21-22" units, but does have the "hump" on top. Had no problem holding my dinner plates so if compact is what you're looking for, this is a good option. + White led display is nicer than green/blue IMO, and is clear and simple (if a bit bright at night) + Straightforward operation - intuitive, no frills control scheme that makes good use of the dial (which is properly detented to match the input it sends). + Heats quickly, seems fairly even given the single heating element (top) thanks to what appears to be fairly aggressive fan circulation. Bread toasted pretty evenly on both sides despite there only being a top element. + Stainless fry basket is nice; always preferred to non-stick chemical shenanigans, and is highly perforated to allow good exposure from below. Works better than I'd have guessed + Default microwave function takes one button press (start) to initiate, and can be adjusted for time using the dial once going. This is super efficient and maybe one of the best things about this unit. Time can be adjusted the same way (dial) for other cook modes in progress. meh: • The membrane-type button panel is vague and requires enough force to occasionally move the whole unit -- in a world of capacitive touchscreens, this feels very archaic. BUT it occurs to me this is likely a lot less sensitive to wet fingers than a capacitive panel would be, and this is a worthwhile consideration in a kitchen where wet hands are a regular feature no likey: - no preheat: the timer for any toast/bake/fry session starts immediately, so you kinda need to learn how much buffer to add for coming up to initial temp. By far my biggest gripe. - Glass microwave plate must be swapped for aluminum one for radiant heating operations. My few weeks of testing seemed to alternate microwave and radiant jobs EVERY time and it is a bit bothersome to deal with the alternating platter. Make sure you install this next to a drawer or cupboard where you can store these things within reach. - (nitpicky) I had to look up how to set the clock, since the button panel is mostly occupied by presets. I'm not a fan of presets and consider this largely wasted space. Being the first interaction you have with the appliance, it's a little off-putting, but thankfully the rest of the UX/ergonomic design proved better. This is a unit for those needing the small size - it does not pack the power of larger microwaves and I suspect air fryer/toasters, but isn't exactly a slouch either; gets the job done. It offers adequate performance, noise levels, easy operation, and a regular game of musical turntables if you alternate microwave/toast functions like I did...a lot of functionality in a small, affordable package. People with small kitchens, boats, van/RVs, etc....this certainly beats the heck out of a regular microwave ... show more

  • Dial already broken
Style: AirFryer
UPDATE: as anticipated the dial broke and can no longer be used to set time. Preset buttons only now. Should last longer than this for the cost!!!! I don't hate it but there are a few things I really dislike. The control knob is plastic and is not sturdy at all and is not going to hold up over time. The touch pad is not at all responsive and hard to see as it is not lighted and you need to be spot on with the buttons. The digital display is so bright you might think we are trying to land planes. The combo concept is good in theory and I love that it saves counter space but it is a fire risk. If you use the air fryer you have to allow the insides to cool before you microwave or cook anything in a plastic/microwave safe container as the glass tray gets very hot and melts anything that touches it. Even with the accessory kit it does not hold much and you will need to buy additional stacking racks to cook layers. I am satisfied with the power output all things considered it is better than I expected for a combo unit. **My biggest issue is that the unit vents from the top which is a massive problem if you are space limited as you can not use it with overhead cabinets & this was not mentioned in the item description as a warning. I have to move the unit onto the stove to use the air fryer for safety reasons which means I can not use the stove at the same time and I do not want to move the whole unit every time I use it - meh. They advertise this as space saving for people with small kitchens but this unit can not have anything near it when in use and that is not consistent with small kitchens. It is passable as far as cooking goes, a definite safety risk, overpriced and the accessory package I paid extra for was a complete was of money in my opinion. ... show more
