I was very skeptical because of the other reviews,but upon receiving them, these are really nice drapes. Very darkening.I ordered an extra pair just in case they were too thin. I'm going to use them in another room. They are very heavy. For the price this was a good buy. I wouldn't say this if it wasn't true.I tell it like it is. For me this is a great value. And, for the sheerness rating? Amazon,you are incorrect on this..If I answer 5 stars to the sheerness that would be saying it is very SHEER "meaning see-through" which they are not. Bought these to replace old ones that literally fell apart after washing. These are so much nicer. The fabric is nice & thick, but they aren't too heavy. Used for a patio door windows that gets sun all day long & these really help keep the heat out. They were lightly wrinkled (fold lines mostly), so I did have to iron them (high heat with steam was fine). I'd buy them again if I needed in another room. ... show more

The price was amazing. Just looking for something simple to darken a room in an out of the way window . Slight smell at first, faded within a few hours. Slight sheen to fabric. Two panels for $15. Surprised by the quality for the price, can’t really complain.
