It comes with a charging cable but apparently once it’s used it’s battery life it needs to be replaced. Update 05/09/2023 The company contacted me and offered a replacement lantern. They have gone above and beyond to make sure my experience is a good one. Very kind and helpful customer service. I love these lanterns. They are super bright, and high tech. You can charge your cell phone off of them. If one lantern goes dead, you can charge one lantern off the other. I built a camper van. These 2 lanterns are my favorite assessery.

Had an issue with my lantern, and seller was very responsive and helped me correct issue - Seller Rating: 5+ Would recommend this company due to their customer service. Great! Lantern is very bright for its size. Seems sturdy and well constructed. Overall satisfied with lantern. Pros: very bright on highest setting. I like that it's not 360 degrees of light because it is almost too bright and the housing allows it to be placed so you don't get blinded, if eye level. Also like the RED led lights which are very bright. Unit charges other devices and I used it to test the device - suspect it will supply a decent charge to phones. Con: Only thing I wish was different - I wish the Red LED light had a dimmer setting. Its full on, or flashing - I wish there was a low or medium setting for Red too. Overall I am happy with purchase, and would recommend to others and I would purchase this lantern again. ... show more

Update 2/18/2023 We received a replacement and have to say the life of the battery is much more than the first set so likely we had a defective set. Upped my rating as I did some research and it seems at $25 each, with the battery life the light brightness and the added bonus of being able to charge a device from this makes it a great buy. This has two brightness setting's, both of which illuminate both sides of the lantern equally. OK for area lighting, but not for spot lighting or reading, as half the light goes unused.
