I bought this toaster hoping that the slot length wouldn't be too much of a problem, but unfortunately I found that I really do need a long-slot toaster. Unfortunately, Crux doesn't make a long version (yet). The look and quality of this toaster is fine. I have black stainless appliances, and this one matched up well, and the controls were very responsive. Bread got toasted (lol, that is the point, right?). I reached out to Crux asking if they can come out with a long-slot version, so I'm hoping for the best on that. Had to return this one, though. Darn. ... show more

Downsizing and upgrading from our (very old, plastic) 4-slice toaster. it's So pretty! And the timer to adjust the toast color is perfect. I also enjoy the pop-up feature, for when your toast slips down beyond the frame. Extra wide slices of bread -or bagels!- fit nicely.

    • Only used a few times and already broken!!!!
I have only had the toaster less than 2 months and used it maybe 6 times and it is already broken. When pushing the toast lever down, it will not lock into place. My old toaster did this when you didn't have it plugged in. Really frustrated!! Update - toaster under 2 year warranty and they are refunding my purchase price so raising to 3 stars ... show more
