    • Fixed a fuel leak on my 2003 WJ
Had a leak from the "tophat" on my WJ, OEM unit from chrysler was like 250 bucks so I opted for this unit. It doesn't have a port with schrader like the OEM unit did so I can't ever test for fuel pressure or relieve the fuel pressure from it when working on the fuel system but for less than half the price I feel that is a fair compromise. You will need to get a new set of fuel injector o-rings as the ones on your current fuel injectors are probably no good. after putting the new o-rings on you will want to use a bit of mineral oil/vaseline/etc on them to lube them up, seat them well in the fuel rail, then put the clips on, lube up the bottom o-rings, and carefully place in the injectors back in the ports. Make sure everything is lubed and properly lined up. The lube is very important, without it you will have a pain of a time seating the injectors and probably won't get them in at all. My first attempt I didn't lube one of them properly and it didn't seal completely and I had a pretty big fuel leak, removed the rail, relubed that o-ring, and it popped right in and no problems as all. I have heard that Crown Automotive parts are cheaper quality parts. So far my fuel rail has been performing well and there has been no issues. I had no problems with the install and it was an exact fit.

    • THIS DOES NOT HAVE THE PRESSURE TEST PORT!!!
I wish I would’ve known that this does not have the pressure test fitting… the picture is accurate, but I did not notice it until the installation was completed… other than that the build quality is excellent and I’m so glad it will never rust out on me again
