  • Changes the way your car responds when you touch the gas peddle.
Put it on a lifted diesel truck. No more lag on the gas peddle. You can adjust it to super sensitive. It gives the ride a new feel.

  • Must have if you own a diesel Titan.
Gives you that extra push when accelerating. Eliminates lag. Great product

  • Amazing product, well worth the money!!!
I’ve read all of the reviews, watched a ton of vids on youtube, but was still a bit skeptical. Not being able to feel/test it for myself before purchase always comes with a risk. However, in this case the reviews are true. I have a 2017 Titan XD diesel, and it has god awful acceleration in stock trim. I love everything about this truck, except that acceleration issue. I’ve had it into the dealer complaining about it time and time again. All of their software updates didn’t address the issues at hand. This product has fixed this issue now. Install was extremely easy. Mine has remote start, so what I did, to make sure not to pop a code, was to take apart the key fobs. Don’t forget to do your secondary key set as well. I then let the truck sit in the garage for about 10min, instructions only say to let sit 5min, but I’m cautious. I have mine tucked up under the dash. I use Pedal Commander’s iPhone app to control the unit. It also has an app for Android should you have that. Only downside to it, is that it doesn’t auto shut off when the truck turns off. Not a huge deal, just have to remember to turn it off after driving. First impressions are that this unit is amazing. I haven’t yet tested it to see how the Eco mode works with gas savings. Will update this post once I do get around to it. ... show more

  • Does what it says
This product did operate as advertised. It did help a little with pedal lag, but don’t forget if u have a diesel it does nothing for your turbo Lag. So it’s mixed feelings for this product, I have it a “4” due to the fact it did what it’s advertised to do. With that.... if your putting a tuner on your truck this might be great as u can adjust it and get most of the lag out with tuner. ... show more

  • Definitely Works
I have one on a 2022 Titan and it makes for a very snappy response the way it's designed and works. Different from competitors which is why I went with the Pedal Monster. Hook-up is easy and Banjs stands by their products!

  • Easy swap. Really helped the lag.
So according to a YouTube review, this just opens the throttle body a little more on City mode, and opens it faster on the sport modes. City mode certainly gets rid of the lag, sport mode is pretty damned sporty, but I don't believe it's any more powerful, per se. I don't think this device adds any horsepower, it just changes how much air and fuel are delivered at a given pedal point. Install was about 15 minutes, including tidying up the cables. The connector is a snap to unplug, just a small screwdriver and the latch slides out of the way. Just look at the Pedal Commander to figure out how it works. The cable under the dash has the same connector. Super simple. Worth the $300 to get rid of the lag in a $40,000 truck. ... show more

  • Dangerous
So…. Yes it’s a quicker response from the throttle… very hard to regulate… I’ve done many test while driving down the road (safely)… so here’s my take being a mechanic for over 25 years… Before I begin… I will explain things and how they work with each other. For instance the gas pedal being pushed operates the throttle body to match how much throttle (power) you are looking for. A lot of people don’t know this so I will try to explain as I go. Really basic. 1- Drive by wire throttle systems are junk. When cars and trucks first came out they used throttle cables which was instant response (gas pedal pushed=throttle open or shut) quickly. It was a direct link between the two. Now theyve taken out the cable and made it all electric (drive by wire) so you have a sensor on the gas pedal connected to the throttle body which has an actuator connected by wiring. This creates lag… you push the gas pedal and it takes time for the throttle body to respond. People don’t usually notice but it depends on the car/truck etc.. 2- fixing the lag is easy(ish), to fix the lag you have to quicken the response from the time you put your foot on the gas pedal to the time the throttle body gets the message to accelerate or decelerate. That’s where these “hacks” come in by creating an interface (“pedal commander”) to lessen the lag (response) time. 3- removing lag is relatively simple because you’re creating a “bypass” module to “force” the electronic current faster to the receiving module “throttle body” that’s where pedal commander comes in. Here’s my concerns. There’s many settings on here that are pre programmed in… now a VERY important difference I want to point out is there are two TOTALLY different measurements I want to explain… Throttle response- is how FAST in milliseconds a throttle body (carburetor) is told to be opened and closed Throttle position- is how FAR the throttle body is open or closed in relation to the gas pedal position…1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full etc.. So when you push the gas pedal the timing and amount of throttle is (or should) be equal to the desired amount.. for instance you push the gas pedal, the throttle opens and is responding to how much and how fast according to the throttle position (1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full). This is where these preset modes come in. MODES- Eco- slows the RESPONSE down and only allows for certain amount of throttle to be open, regardless of amount of throttle pushed..This means for instance the most the throttle will open is 1/2 (not verified) way open which means you can never reach 100% power. The response is slower and is very “dead” feeling in the gas pedal. Resulting in better MPG (also not verified)… less power allowed should equal less consumption of fuel… City- is a step above eco which speeds up response and allows for more throttle to be accessed. Pedal response seems much better and Throttle is allowed to be 100% accessible? Never tested it but it feels much better than eco mode. More like stock but faster response. Sport mode- this is where it starts to become more of an issue and I’ll tell you my thoughts… Coming from a generation of throttle cables (instant and accurate throttle response) I’ve learned to drive with the throttle. When I push the throttle I want it to respond to 1/4, 1/2, 3/4 and full throttle by how much I push the gas pedal and also how fast I push and release the throttle… especially in winter climates. Traction is very important in the winter months and the amount of throttle needs to be more precise. This mode is more aggressive. Faster response but also more throttle than wanted.. if I push the throttle 1/4 pedal I want 1/4 pedal.. not in this mode. 1/4 pedal is more like 1/2 pedal and 1/2 pedal is more like 3/4. May not seem like much of a worry but it is. Keep that in mind for the next mode… Sport plus- the most dangerous mode…there are many “fine tuning” of these modes on all preset settings. Now the manual said this mode is only for off-road use only and they are absolutely right. Again throttle response and throttle position are two totally different things. In this mode 1/4 throttle is full throttle instantly or close to it… no pedal regulation at all. Not good. Imagine driving either full throttle or none. That’s this mode. As soon as you hit the gas it violently comes to life. Irresponsible is what comes to mind. It doesn’t make your car faster, it makes your car respond faster and way less predictable…. Imagine driving through stop and go traffic with pushing the gas pedal all the way to the floor or letting go fully… those are your only two options. I can’t count how many times I lost traction while taking off on dry roads. It’s violent! While drifting the last thing you want is 100% throttle or none… doesn’t work. Terrible mode… Conclusion- Do I think it’s a good product? Yes. Do I think it’s for everyone? No Do I think it needs to be redesigned? Absolutely Making the pedal signal received faster is the goal, not the amount of the pedal, make it respond faster that’s the goal. Don’t alter the way the gas pedal AMOUNT is received just the RESPONSE. They are trying to fool you into thinking your car is faster than it actually is. It’s dangerous. Just fix the problem…. That’s my opinion. THE ONLY WAY TO FIX THIS ISSUE IS WITH A “TUNE”. Change how the computer (the brain) of the vehicle has been dumbed down by the government. Unleash the full potential of your vehicle. Not this way. Thanks for reading. ... show more
