This is my third attempt at a pizza oven since July. Just got this one yesterday. I cleaned as instructed and started the first pizza. I had a frozen deep dish style pizza and was leary how it would cook. Anyway, I preheated the oven and had the pizza in about 12 minutes. The pizza came out great. I will post another comment after I cook a few more. As for comments it doesn't turn off, if it was left on, I doubt it could start at fire on the lowest setting, but I will just unplug it when done and all is good. ... show more

This takes a LONG time to warm up. The front of the pizza oven doesn't fit correctly in the opening of the pizza oven. SPENT WAY TO MUCH TIME ON IT ALL TOGETHER. DO NOT recommend purchasing

This is more a commercial oven. Built heavy duty. Though we've only used it once, it worked quite well. They state that it will cook a frozen pizza (which is what it's for) in 4-6 minutes. Our first try was more like 10-12 minutes. Still impressive and we don't have to heat up the house for a frozen pizza. I would assume if you were cooking several pizzas in a row, it would probably be close to stated time. They also say preheat is not necessary but next time I will. The timer is just that, it does not turn the oven off when time is up, just turns off the light. Heat thermostat also does not turn the oven off, it ranges from "minimum" to I believe 575. With that said you MUST unplug it when you're done! Over all we're impressed by the quality of the oven. Time will tell on durability. ... show more

This oven doesn't ever stop, the timer doesn't stop the oven from heating. I feel like it's a fire hazard.

Makes an ordinary $3 frozen pizza like Jack's or Tombstone taste even better! Crust gets crispy on the bottom and with a little added toppings and cheese you can have a pizzaria type pizza! The oven is large and heavy and worth it. You can cook other frozen foods in it as well, just use the temp dial and timer. The bottom pulls out for easy cleaning as well. ... show more

I haven’t used an electric frozen pizza oven for a while. I sold my last one years ago before Amazon was a thing. But having an electric frozen pizza oven back in the day, like that one that they had in those Wisconsin taverns while throwing down some PBRs where they served Tombstone pizzas at 1 a.m. from behind the bar, and they tasted like the best pizza ever made, well, that was the absolute novelty of owning a pizza oven like this. I ran this oven several times before cooking in it for the first time to help burn off all the gremlins. This pizza oven is convenient and fast. I’ll temper that by preheating it for at least 5-10 minutes; it improves the final results. Otherwise, this thing will bang out pizza after pizza, straight out of the freezer, reasonably consistently. Lastly, I did not use a pan; the pizzas went straight into the oven via the slide-in grill. There are a couple of improvements over the older ovens. One is the glass door to monitor the pizza, and the other is the interior light for the same reason. This oven is well built, has stainless construction, and looks very “commercial.” It’ll also get pretty hot on the outside. If you host many parties where you need to bang out a lot of pizzas or other items, or you know someone who does, this would be a perfect gift for them or yourself. ... show more

    • Great for the "Shop"

So far this has been a great product. I'm using it in a shop where "the boys" work on trucks. I can keep the garage freezer stocked with frozen pizzas, and they have a nice option for lunch/dinner without leaving the garage. They love it. After letting it pre-heat for about 10 minutes, it cooks the pizzas perfectly. They usually go through 2-3 at a time and can get them all done in short order. The glass door and interior light make keeping an eye on the pizzas much more convenient without pulling it out frequently. It does get hot on the exterior as well, so make sure to have a dedicated spot away from items you don't want to melt. We had one of these for years, and it finally died. This one is a much improved version of the same thing, and we couldn't be happier. ... show more
