I’ve had this Crockpot multiple times. The burner unit has never failed me. I always end up breaking the pot or the lid before it fails. For the money I don’t think it can be beat. I got this on sale for $24 black Friday baby! It feels cheap and could dent easily so be careful. It is plenty big enough for most meals. The lack of a timer is kind of a bummer but it is their cheapest model soo. The company has definitely made the wire shorter over the years. It is barely enough to reach unless it is right up against the wall. It is packed with that crumbly foam so I would unpack outside, unless you want a mess. AMAZON: Why must you pack stuff like this in a box twice the size with NO stuffing. Do you like getting broken returns? I’m sure you know how shippers treat their packages. Not to mention I PAID for the shipping on this. No excuse… I will update if it fails and I have to return in a unreasonable amount of time! ... show more

This crockpot is a great value and, like any crockpot, it's as versatile as you could want. The price is exceptionally good. One thing to note is how heavy the porcelain bowl is. That makes it something of a chore to clean in the sink. (I don't use the dishwasher for this.) And the glass lid takes some easy handling because it could break easily if you dropped it. But overall, this is a great addition to any kitchen and I highly recommend it. ... show more

This is a very large and roomy crock pot. I love that I can prepare a large meal with all the veggies included, prepare a large stew or roast or even 2 packages of chicken for a meal. Easy cleanup. The only negative thing I would caution about is that this is a heavy crockpot--even before the food is added. Now, to be honest, I am an older woman and my hands are not as strong as my young grandson. He has no problem lifting it and carrying it for me. But it is a wonderful crockpot. ... show more

No complaints. Works perfectly. Doesn't overheat like some reviews said. I mean, it's hot to the touch obviously, but just don't touch it? Why would you touch it anyways? Anyways, has never burnt anything. I've never used it on high because I think that defeats the purpose of a slow cooker, plus on low it's already really hot. If anything I'd say maybe decrease your cooking time by like an hour if you're cooking any meat. Only because it's starts getting more on the dry side if i cook any meat for 7.5-8 hours. Definitely recommend though. Great size, simple, easy. Easy to clean. No issues ... show more
