I love the Joy Xtra because it's more portable than the Explore One or Maker models and has more capability than the Joy. Great starter tool. I'm a beginner so it works but I have outgrown it already. It only takes standard paper sizes. It's a good tool for making cups, decals, cards etc..not the best for shirts but good to start with
