No way does this take 8 hours to put together. Between screws, bolts and parts not marked and some of the pre drilled holes not right it took more like 20 hours. I will say it’s very sturdy and my grandkids love it, so it was worth it.

Love that it’s made in the USA Disappointed some of the wood pieces were split Disappointed not all the wood was labeled so it took longer to put together. Wish the ladder was actual steps not poles because it hurts your feet. Kids love it. Wouldn’t recommend for under 3 though it says 2-8 but I would defiantly recommend to other parents. ... show more

    • This thing was a giant pain every step of the way
You really do have to check everything against the instructions because ours was almost completely bad. We had to re-measure everything ourselves (all bolts, screws and wood) and label it ourselves because all of it was labeled wrong. And then there was putting it together. It's been weeks and we're only about halfway through the building it. Almost every single hole has had to be re-drilled and almost every single bold has put up a fight getting in. Right now I'm taking a lunch break in the middle of trying to put the roof on because between holding the thing up and trying to get yet ANOTHER bolt to go (it won't) I'm closer to breaking the thing than I am to finishing it. If I wasn't already committed this far in I'd call them and return it. As is, I'm going to demand some kind of compensation for the biggest pain-in-the-neck building project I've ever tried. If it's going to be this hard to put it together, then the price needs to be reduced dramatically. ... show more

Some holes did not line up fully and needed a boring out. Some Hardware was missing. 1/3 of the wood framing was not marked for location assembly as required. This directly impacted the time it took to assemble this swing set. Having to buy hardware that should have been included in the order caused the crew to work much slower. ... show more

Takes SO LONG to assemble because the company couldn’t label more than 5-10 parts of the play set. For what you pay you think they could afford to label all the wood to make assembly easier on their customers.

If you can read directions, you can put this together. This took a little over 8 hours with just one person, but it was possible to complete the entire install without any issue. It is very sturdy, the wood did not have any defects and was already stained and sealed. Overall this is a good playground. It’s a little small for my kids (9 and 6) but they still play on it. It wasn’t necessarily hard to assemble but took a day and a half to do so. Some of the wood wasn’t labeled. None of the screws were labeled. Screw bags had numbers on them but the numbers didn’t correlate to the book. We figured it out though. The boards on the inside of the roof are pointy. Are 6 year old bumped his head on them so we ended up smoothing down the corners.
