These actually work as complete blackout curtains. These look beautiful on their own, but I consider these a blackout curtain, something I hang on a separate rod behind the curtains I look at - works either way. I have them in a room that has bright street lights outside, that also gets direct sun in the winter. With these closed you cannot tell what time it is! There is a noticable effect on temperature, as these also block the cold draft. The fabric is a single layer thick polyester, very easy to wash and care for. Good stitching, and no bad smell. Accurate sizing. The ones I ordered are a gorgeous dark green on the front with black on the reverse side.I thought they felt heavy but on the rod they are not too heavy, hang well. You have options - these can be hung on back tabs (although those are a bit thin, not proper tabs made of same polyester fabric), or with included hooks or rings with clips, on a rod, or with your own ring clips. ... show more

I love these 100% blackout curtains. So easy to hang with five different options to hang them with. I used the back tabs to slide the rod through the material on the back. They came with what I call "old fashion pins" my mother used. Not a fan of those. The third are plastic (cheaply made) ring hooks. I like the looks but I don't feel they would hold up very long if you open and close your curtains often. And using the rings would have made my curtains 2" longer. The method I chose is the perfect length of 84" long. Forth is using the rod pockets and lastly, hook clips. The material is so soft and seems very well made. The backing is thermal insulated black keeping noise and the light and heat and cold out. These are beautiful curtains and a great value for your money. ... show more

These curtains are very fancy looking and remind me of something you would find in a nice hotel. They have a sateen type finish on them and are lined with a sheer cream liner so all you need to have your own fancy curtain setup are these. They come with curtain hooks or you can slide a pole through them. I like how they come in super long lengths so if you have high ceilings these will be a great choice. ... show more

Beautiful soft green curtains. The inside is a thick black to help make it blackout. It certainly blocks out a lot of light. We put ours on a double rod with a sheer inner curtain and its stunning. The only thing questionable about these are the fibers used to slot the curtain rod through... typically you see a solid piece of thick fabric, but in these are just fibrous strings making it difficult to put the pole through it without ripping a couple or getting jammed. It was a bit frustrating but it seems to be holding up ok once we hot them all threaded. Otherwise, these are great curtains. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. These are true blackout curtains and are amazing quality- I have bought so many new curtains this past year it’s not even funny. They have all ranged from “okay…” to “oh wow these are nice” and these are up there! I love how soft they are. I have velvet curtains that I love for their softness, but some people don’t like that look, and for those people I would say this is a good pick with it being super soft but still looking sleek. They have a good weight to them too, you can tell when a curtain is cheap when it doesn’t fall right because it doesn’t have enough weight to it, and these don’t have that problem at all. Just hanging them pulled a lot of the wrinkles out. The color I bought was exactly the color that was shown on the listing 😅 It looks great. Lastly, it’s nice how they’ve included a lot of hardware for it if you prefer hanging it with what I call sliders (pretty sure that’s not the correct term-but the things that slide on the rod). It’s nice when something like that is included so then you don’t have to go shopping for one more thing once you inbox it. The only thing about this curtain that really bothered me was how the back tabs were done. It won’t matter to anyone who is not hanging them by the back tabs, but for me that’s how I hang all my curtains so it was really irritating. They’re not really tabs as much as just strings sewn up and down, and while they do hold (so far) quality curtains have actual tabs so I wish they would update that. Other than that a great curtain set, I would rate 9/10 and 10/10 if I didn’t use the back tabs. ... show more
