This paddle allows me to have confidence and control and has now permeated into multiple dimensions of my life. It's parodoxicallly light and heavy at the same time. Ying yang if you know what I mean. Light with soft touch at the kitchen. But strong and sure for long and driving game. It has a nice neoprene cover that keeps it warm. The grip fits me like a life long prosthetic. I like that it is dark and not white like joola paddles I have. I can get it dirty and it doesn't look nasty. I am approaching. 4.0 level. I was a tennis player for over 35 years so some shots feel very comfortable. My 18k seems to have lost its pop so bought the crnc x3. Played with it last night dir the first time,,,, wow! I am very impressed with the extra pop and great spin especially with a backhand slice!!! Control was very good. I chose the 14mm which was lighter and quicker to maneuver at the nvz. I highly recommend this paddle :-) ... show more

I've been enjoying using this paddle! This is my second pickle paddle and my first was a Ben johns Franklin model (Ben moved to joola and no longer has a Franklin paddle). I think too many players get caught up on which paddle will make them the best player and if you play a lot of pickleball, all of them do great and I happened to choose this one and use it all the time. If you don't play more than like 2 times a week, just get a cheaper paddle. I occasionally bring out my $50 paddle to the courts and smoke most players with it. And then they question their $200 paddle purchase. Some things to note with this paddle: if you have larger hands, I recommend switching up the grip. The base handle with no grip is small and I was getting hand soreness from gripping too tight on it by the end of the pickle session. I recommend removing the grip, adding a layer of tape (hockey tape is good and it cheap) then adding your tennis grip. I am rocking a green tape and it stands out when I paddle up and am in line. The thickness fits my hand a bit better than stock and I no longer have crampy fingers. The next thing is this paddle is light. I would consider messing around with the weight tape on the sides. I was running them on the sides near the handle and I noticed I was swinging slower but had slightly more control with it. If you do add weight tape, it's gonna take a few sessions to adjust. This is an easy paddle to use and looks nice and I'd say an okay value for money but I do feel like paddles pretend there's so much technogy inside but I'm not at all convinced. This paddle has enhanced my weak serves and made them stronger. I can clearly see that now when I use my old favorite paddle for serving as a comparison. Paddle has great control especially as I learn to finesse the ball to my right or left near the net., when I used to slam.
