I found the directions,confusing.>READ them at least 3-4 times. The main difficulty was the position of the AM/FM CD/OFF sliding switch. It was,in my opinion,to small for this 89 Y.O.man to use. The top loading feature for the CD couldn't be easer. Would buy the Craig Boombox again? YES

Materials and construction seem pretty good. Audio borders on pathetic although folks like Johnny Cash or Johnny Horton or any performer on analog sources from the 60;s and earlier are OK. Otherwise expect a noisy wind tunnel effect. My overall experience suggests that the older your music material happens to be, the more likely you are to feel good about what you hear. This would be terrific for little kids or the elderly based on ease of use and modest size and weight for moving the player here and there. ... show more
