The Craftsman® Universal Power Sprayer is a consumer friendly sprayer that is effortless to use and eliminates pumping. The power wand is perfect to use for weed control, insect control and cleaning applications. The power wand is operational right out of the carton, no assembly required. The Craftsman Universal Power Sprayer comes standard with a patented dip-tube that fits on any standard 38mm ready-to-use refill bottle. Pumping days are over! The Craftsman Universal Power Sprayer is lightweight, durable and powered by 4-AA included batteries which will deliver up to 60 minutes of run-time. The convenient battery compartment built into the handle makes it quick and easy to replace 4-AA batteries. The integrated adjustable nozzle allows the customer to easily set the desired spray pattern from stream to cone in seconds. In stream mode the unit can spray up to ~20'. At the heart of the Craftsman Universal Power Sprayer is the specially designed 4.5V lightweight robust DC motor and specially designed chemical resilient gear pump. This motor-pump design is optimized to provide optimum performance in the wee, insect and cleaning applications. The Craftsman Universal Power Sprayer comes with an integrated locking trigger that allows the end-user to lock the sprayer "on" or squeeze on-demand depending on the application. In addition, the tool is smartly designed to fold into the wand making it convenient, safe and easy to store when not in use.

The only con was when the liquid got low we couldn't get it to pump out. Had to pour it in a cup and put the hose in the cup in order to use all of the cleaner. Yes. It’s bablot easier. But it’s not really forceful. I got it to fit a Clorox bottle. I use Clorox to kill grass in my small stone (3/8 inch) driveway, rather than use a more powerful herbicide. Clorox also decomposes once sunlight hits it. I couldn’t get the device to spray. Maybe I just couldn’t figure it out. I would have like a spray to gapply diluted Clorox (1:3) onto green algae growing on my deck and house shingles. But I had a lot of grass to get rid of and it looks like this worked. It also clogged early, but I got it going again by washing the nozzle in a stream of water from a faucet. ... show more

I am so thrilled with this I bought three more. It is exactly what I was looking for. I needed something to water indoor plants without going back and forth to the tap to fill watering cans. I tried the pump garden sprayer but the nozzle was waaay too long and the repeated pumping was annoying. The nice thing is that even if the 38mm attachment doesn't fit, as long as the tube is in the water it works. So, I float it in the garden spayer container and I don't have to carry 5 gals of water all over. It is exactly as described. ... show more

Great sprayer but after two uses, it appeared to fail. The internal pump was spinning but it wouldn't spray. I realized it simply needed to be primed. Simply pull the trigger and give the closed bottle of liquid a good squeeze for a couple of seconds which will force the liquid up the tube; keep squeezing with the trigger pulled until it starts spraying. Don't run the pump dry for an extended period or you can damage it. The quick squeeze seems to do the trick. It's also a good idea to flush the gun after each use by unplugging the hose from the cap and placing it in a cup of water. Pull the trigger to spray clean water. ... show more

I have had several of these sprayers over the years and this one is better than average. It come with the batteries already installed - a great value indeed. It sprays about six feet for me but only sprays a stream / the nozzle does not adjust to a spray pattern. It does not have a filter on the feed step so any debris can enter the unit and clog it up rendering it useless. This has happened to several of my other sprayers. I use a paper filter when filing the container to prevent foreign material from clogging the sprayer. ... show more
