The product being reviewed is described by various users as both effective and disappointing. While some users find these pumps great for tasks like spraying farm chemicals, roof cleaning, and pressure washing, citing their power and ability to handle caustic chemicals with proper rinsing, others express dissatisfaction with their durability and quality over time. The longevity of the pumps seems to be a significant issue, with some pumps failing within a year or even five weeks, despite the manufacturer's reputation for producing lasting products.

Should I Buy It?

Considering the mixed reviews, purchasing this pump depends on your willingness to maintain it rigorously and your tolerance for the possibility of needing to replace it sooner than expected. If you're using it for professional purposes and it quickly pays itself off, it might be worth the investment. However, for those seeking longevity and reliability above all, exploring other options could be advisable.

  • Very easy to install, good pump
Size: 1.0 GPM Style: Hose Barb Ports
Replaced an older pump that was still working on an Irontron 8 gallon ATV sprayer. The older pump had lost some pressure and this one works great. Total replacement time might be 10 minutes. Unit is very quiet. When I use this unit I usually spray fire ant killer, 2-4-d, or Roundup. Clean the unit after each use!!!! I get amused by people who rate a pump as not lasting very long but works good when it did. I have to believe that many users do not clean the tank/pump after each application. I learned the hard way, but now I do not have any issues with pumps. There is not a pump sold that will withstand harsh herbicide/pesticide chemical on the interior seals. If you clean the tank/pump after each use it will last a long time. Here is what I do: 1. Drain the tank of any remaining fluid 2. Add water to the tank and then drain it again 3. Add about 2 inches of water to the tank, power up the pump, and spray the water out 4. When the water hitting the ground loses the suds or soapy appearance the unit is now spraying mostly water. 5. Unpower the pump and squeeze the lever on the wand to remove the pressure inside the pump. 6. Store the unit for the next use. I always leave some water in the tank, but not in the pump. Good luck. It only takes less than 5 minutes to clean. ... show more

  • Better pump than came on Northern Tool sprayer!
Size: 1.0 GPM Style: Hose Barb Ports
Bought a sprayer from Northern Tool to replace same one that I had used for many years. Didn’t think to check warranty on newer one before buying. It lasted 3 1/2 months and I found out it was only guaranteed for 3 months. Ordered this one and it works great. Much cheaper than a replacement from NT, and much better pump! ... show more

  • works great for my tow behind 30 gallon sprayer
Size: 2.2 GPM Style: Diaphragm
The OEM motor rusted up -- it seems that this piece of outdoor equipment is not even water resistant! Anyway, I needed to replace the motor and this one works perfectly. It was easy to install, as it used the same mounting bolt pattern as the original. So far, works great, but I am keeping a tarp over the sprayer, now. ... show more

  • Very good quality pump for softwash systems
Size: 5.5 GPM Style: FNPT Ports
I bought this pump for building my own Softwash system. It works perfectly, only we have to try it out in practice to see how it preforms. We living in the Netherlands the only issue we have to find the right connectors to connect this pump to garden hose.

  • This used to be great now they are just garbage. Just leaks every single one of the 3 that I bought
Size: 5.5 GPM Style: FNPT Ports
The media could not be loaded. I been using the same model pump since 2021 for softwashing and they usually last anywhere from 6-8months but the pass 3 I’ve had only held up for few days of few weeks. They all almost immediately start leaking from the diaphragm and all ways end up leaking inside the motor housing…. What is going on with everflow ? Quality has dropped that bad ? They used to work for minimum of 6 months with not leaks on the pump. Usually the motor would get tired and just not put as much gpm so i would swap for a new one but now the pump seals are just not holding up. And I have to wait almost 1 month to receive a replacement? I’m currently looking for another brand! I all ways kept a spare pump in my trailer the only problem is I rant out of spare pumps and still everflow has not even shipped the pump I ordered 2 weeks ago. ... show more

  • The quality of the pumps from everflow has dropped
Size: 7.0 GPM Style: Pump
Purchased many 7GPM Pumps from everflow through out the years and now they changed how their pumps are built. The new version only lasted me about 4 months. The older model lasted about a year maybe a year and a half. Writing this from a softwash job I’m at right now and the pump decided to kick the bucket midway through. These things aren’t cheap, so to be spending 260$+ every 4 months adds up ... show more

  • It works
Size: 5.5 GPM Style: FNPT Ports
Kinda unorthodox packaging but I’m not planning on babying the pump. Was a bit damp on arrival. Pump didn’t work at first but it turns out a fuse blew in my wire harnesses,(not the pump fuse) was only a 7.5amp fuse. Threw in the correct size and it’s been running well. Iv had 4-5 of these and they normally last me the better part of a year running caustic chemicals through it. I rinse with about 5 gal H2O after each use. ... show more
