hardwired ecobee doorbell in and needed a chime for it, purchased this and like it. it is loud and clear. we have the chime hung right beside the front door, and loud noises will cause it to resonate in the chime. most people don't notice it but occasionally someone will yell and then the chime can be heard, not nearly as loud as if someone hit the doorbell button though.     • Nothing fancy just built to work
In the 30 + years I have lived in this home, I have burned up two door bells. This is my third. It works with my Ring doorbell and keeps the Ring doorbell charged. I am happy to have a door bell that works and looks good.
