  • They’re sharp, be careful
Color: 6pcs
These innocent looking, pastel colored pen like cutters are actually pretty sharp. This can be a great thing, but it also has the potential to hurt the unsuspecting. Best to use with supervision if you are a child, or have other reasons to need guidance. I was surprised with how well they cut, and also how nimbly the blades on these pens can be maneuvered. I’m used to using the very finest, custom made carving knives from Japan on my woodblock printing endeavors, so what I say here is no faint praise. These pen knives do hold a place of convenience for anyone who wants to cut things like cardstock for arts and crafts. I don’t know how well they would perform with things like wood. The delicate size and width offers a dexterous control over the cutting of materials for some 3D art, perhaps even lino blocks for printmaking at an affordable price. Again, if I can get them to carve tiny details in wood blocks, I’ll be thrilled. At $30-$50 per wood block carving knife, I’d be very happy to save on wear and tear on my more expensive tools for the tiny, fine details. I’ll come back and edit this review if I’m successful in that task. ... show more

  • Very cool little crafting cutter tool
Color: 12pcs
I’ve never used anything like this, so I did not know if it would actually work… And is does! It works great and it’s very comfortable and easy to control because it’s just like holding a pen. It even has a grip and clicks open like a pen - very easy. The blades do come with a protective plastic “blob” on the tips so you do have to carefully pop that off before they are useable for the first time. It’s a very cool tool - It seems to have the same kind of blade that is found on a craft cutting machine. ... show more

  • Neat cutting knife, limited usefulness
Color: 12pcs
These are certainly cute and have tiny sharp cutting points. You do have to pay attention to what direction the blade is pointed and thickness of paper etc. will make a difference in how clean the cut is. This point does NOT rotate so you have to move your hand to create the line you are cutting. Certainly enough of them to be disposable when a point becomes dull, not sure how well they would sharpen. ... show more

  • can be mistaken for a pen
Color: 6pcs
Cute, not very useful and accord to me that it could be mistaken for a pen, Keep in mind if you have children

  • Super Points
Color: 12pcs
Perfect for small crafts in cutting papers and some slightly sturdier materials. The pens release a small blade after pressing on the top button and then may be used almost as if it were a pen. Because of the colorful design and strong resemblance to actual pencils / pens, I suggest these be kept far away from young children who may not realize the purpose of this tool and present a hazard. ... show more

  • These do not replace scissors
Color: 12pcs
I bought these expecting them to make cutting paper easier. They do not make cutting paper easier, I might even go as far as saying that they make cutting paper harder. You might ask if it can be used on any other materials... I broke one, when I used it to cut cardboard so please don't even try on cardboard. These also look too much like pens so they could be a safety hazard. ... show more

  • Work as expected
Color: 6pcs
These feel a little cheap (very plastic-y) however they do work as expected. I was able to easily trim up small images with these and had pretty good control. All of the 'pens' work as expected (all the tops clicked and held well under moderate pressure etc.) though I'm not sure how long I expect these to last (time will tell). Overall I am pleased with these 'pens' and they have already been very useful in my crafting projects so I do highly recommend. ... show more

  • Scoring, scratching, or cutting?
Color: 6pcs
Both my girlfriend and I are into crafts of various sorts so I thought these would be really handy to have alongside a craft knife. Thin plastic packaging was ripped open and pens were loose, although none were missing. Some, but not all, as expected, of the tips had been dipped (as in the photo) for protection. The cutting edge is, essentially, a thin round (steel?) rod about the same size as the tip of a ballpoint pen. that has had two bevels that leave a 'blade' and a point. The biggest issue here is that in order to effectively cut a sheet of paper, the blade part of the nib has to be against the paper, much like cutting anything with a knife. Trying to work out where that blade is on a tiny protruding 'nib' at the end of a pen is pretty much impossible under normal use; you have to rotate the pen as you use it until the blade starts to cut through the paper, otherwise you are just scratching the surface without cutting. Great idea in theory, as they'd be so convenient, but not in practice. To be honest I have NO idea what I'm going to be able to use these for. ... show more
