So first off this unit sometimes comes with a $50 off coupon. So watch for that. With that coupon I paid about $279 for the 10,000 BTU unit. Secondly, this unit is for vertical window openings. I did have to modify (cut) the slid rail that is inserted in the window, otherwise the exhaust adapter is cut off at least in half of expelling the hot air. I used an electric jigsaw. But I’m sure you can use a manual handsaw if you need to cut the plastic rail to size. I’m pretty sure our windows are standard size horizontal opening so it’ll probably apply if you have the same. As for the noise level, it’s a bit noisier than I expected. I believe it says 55 dB and my picture included shows it’s a little over 60 which isn’t terrible considering running water in the sink is about 65 dB. Mind you we do have central air but I don’t feel like running it and cooling off the entire first floor just to get the second floor bearable for sleeping. So I do believe this will save money in the long run instead of calling the whole house I can just cool the room off that I’m sleeping in. Last thing I’ll mention is I have an electric or digital temperature reader about 15 feet from the unit. I had the unit set to 70° and it turned off and the digital reading on my thermometer says 72°, so it seems to be a few degrees difference between the two. Otherwise for the price I’ve seen 10,000 BTU air conditioners like an LG go for $799. So price point I’m pretty happy with some cold air. On the high level it seems to kick in another fan and it takes about five seconds for it to kick in and it seems to blow just a little bit more forceful air but not a lot more and it’s slightly louder. The only other thing I mention is I have it up on a block about 12 inches off the floor and even at floor level. I don’t believe you can read the digital readout at a sitting position. You would actually have to stand up to see what degrees you have it set at. Kinda sucks but nothing terrible. Also there is only low and high mode. I have not tried the timer the air dryer, so I cannot comment on that. It took me about 25 minutes for my boxing, cutting and installing to having it running.     • Advertised as a 4-n-1 but the 4 does not include heat
The unit works well as a portable A/C but I was expecting a unit that would also provide heat. My fault for assuming that because the other units I looked that were listed as 4n1s, which were fan, dehumidifying, a/c. and heat, that this unit was the same. Apparently, this unit considers sleep mode or remote controlled as the 4th function. Very disappointed. ... show more

We LOVE this a/c. I’ve had it for a month or two now. If it gets over 90 it may only cool my large bedroom, but anything below that cools a good portion of my house! Almost No water is collecting from the ac in drip pan underneath. Easy to install. Easy to use. I live in a humid area. I’m so happy with this purchase ... show more

I have this baby set up in my bedroom as I like things to be a balmy 65 degrees when I sleep. This thing does it without breaking a sweat. It's not a huge size, it doesn't make a lot of noise and it makes things super chilly. Definitely recommend.

IT BLOWS COLDER AIR THAN MY CENTRAL AC 😩😂 You have to wait 24 hours before even plugging the device in. Make sure it sits where you want and wait 24 hours for the refrigerant to settle . Make sure you connected everything right and IT WILL work. If skeptical, purchase a protection plan. Other than that this product works if you’re not an idiot. I got this just to throw in a room or the rv when we need some extra cooling and its great!! it comes with everything you need to vent it outside like a regular window ac, and its pretty powerful!! I will say that if you have pet hair you may have to check the filter a little more often, I checked it after a week and there was a little build up but not enough to cause any issues. The filter itself is easy to remove and clean, you'll want to let it dry before you put it back in and use it though. Definitely a good buy if you need something for now and then.
