Arrived very quickly, with moist soil, and in good condition. I am a bit disappointed in the decorative pot though. It's a cheap plastic pot that looks much nicer in the photo. But that's a minor thing. I have a surplus of pots to put it in. The other 2 plants I purchased (money tree and ZZ plant) also both arrived in good condition. It came alive and well in the box, I then had it growing and undisturbed for about a month. Then went home for winter break so it didnt get watered for like 4 weeks, then within the week I came back the house cat (who loves to attack plants) strikes at my plant for the first time. Off the window sill onto the ground, dirt everywhere and the leaves cut up. Now it is about a week and a half later, buddy is doing better than before. ... show more

It's small and like the other reviews say, the base it comes in is plastic and looks nice in the pictures. However, the plant itself is great! I got it at a really good sale price so I really can't complain. Can't wait for it to grow!

This plant is a ripoff. It cost TWENTY-ONE DOLLARS, and it's only about 6-7 inches tall. I bought several snake plants from Costa farms last year, almost 2 feet tall, for $19. I had given a few away, so I decided to buy more for my room. I searched for my order from last year because I was very happy with the plants I got, and re-ordered three of them at a cost of $21/each. The pipsqueaks arrived today. I have one next to two I bought from last year, for contrast. Yes, the ones from last year have grown a few inches since my purchase but that is not why they dwarf this super tiny one. They dwarf it because they were 4 times the size of this midget, for $2 less, when they arrived. I am a master gardener and I often buy houseplants and orchids online. (Apparently not a master reader, though, because when I returned to look at my order in the summary I see that they stated the plants were 8 inches tall [in the pot maybe].) After receiving these midgets and being advised that I CANNOT RETURN THEM, I feel completely ripped off. I do not recommend this company. It is completely ridiculous to be charged $21 for a common houseplant this small. When I find a good grower I usually return to buy plants from them again and again, because I trust them. But I will NEVER buy from Costa Farms again. 5 thumbs down! ... show more

    • Cracked plastic pot, dirt everywhere
When I opened the box, the dirt had spilled everywhere like someone had shaken the box. The leaves (one about 8in, the others very small, but I’m sure will grow) are healthy and undamaged. The pot, on the other hand, is cheap plastic. Pretty, but cheap plastic. I combed the description to find one mention of it being plastic and I can’t find one. My mistake, I expected a nice glass pot, regardless, it’s cracked and it shouldn’t have been sent that way. Since the box is in perfect shape, I can only assume it was packaged cracked. Not sure I’d but again, we will see how it grows and if it lives. ... show more
