I got this about a month ago. This photo is from like week 2. It's grown at least a foot since I got it and new leaves are opening every day even the big big ones I thought the littles became the big ones but no. I don't know anything about plants I've killed everything I've ever tried to grow indoors but I got this and the 3 pack of exotic angel plants that are so cute and they are all thriving and actually growing. Most of them are hearty plants. I have north south facing windows only so I was putting them outside a few hours a day but bought a grow lamp and that seems to be working good. Have a ponytail Palm on the way from them and can't wait. Going to order alllll their plants. Everyone comments on how much they love the monstera even though it's taken over my studio apt but I got a moss stick to attach the stalks to. The leaves are so big and plump and gorgeous. The soil mostly stayed in the pot. They all arrived in great condition and all of the different plants are thriving They aren't letting me write a separate review for my second one. I love this farm I've bought like 20 things from them they are always great except this last monstera I ordered one of the bamboo sticks that keep the package secure was stuck right through one of the gigantic leaves and ripped it in half. It was like that when I got it when I took the paper off there was the big piece of leaf sitting in the dirt. Which normally would be fine but this was a housewarming present and I don't want to give it to them since the tallest one is all messed up ... show more

It arrived promptly, packaged in sturdy heavy duty cardboard and protected by anchoring and paper wrap. Healthy, vibrant and ready for planting into its new self-watering pot. Beautiful addition to my sunroom. Great value! Not sure I could find one as healthy in any local nursery. Thank you!

Plants that are delicate I have learned the hard way will not make it I just realized this plants come from Florida so unless u live close I don't washington state I would not buy monsteras it was hudge plant but it all the leaves were pretty much damaged with mold I'm trying to save it will see... my ZZ plant on the other hand also from them beauty healthy strong plant for the long trip :) the peace lily also came damaged leave dry all the flowers brown i chopped her up and look at her now just shows u how good this brand is with the amazing root system it had it grew back !! Bigger and more beautiful. amazing brand wish I lived closer P.s it was shipped from Florida to Washington state please give them a chance I will try again during the summer for something no so delicate. ... show more

PROS: The plant arrived ahead of schedule and was very well packaged so it didn’t budge and included a heat pack since the weather is cold here. The leaves are large and beautiful, and once you arrange them a bit and hold them in place with some sticks (I used the bamboo poles that they shipped with) and some plant ties it has a beautiful shape and looks lovely. I also wiped down the leaves with a damp paper towel to removed the dirt debris and dried water drop marks from shipping. And, I’ve only had it a week and it’s already growing a new leaf! CONS: Although packaged quite well, I did end up removing one of the largest leaves, that was torn in shipping. Not a big deal, and to be expected shipping from many states away. The main problem I am not too happy about is the root rot. My plant was shipped swimming in water, causing root rot, which you can see in my photo with the yellow spots with black center. So unfortunately I had to chop off that leaf as well to keep the fungus from spreading. I’m very relieved I caught it so early, otherwise I might have lost the whole plant. I repotted it immediately into fresh soil, but the poor plant was weeping out all of the excess water through its leaves for about a week. OVERALL: This plant exceeded expectations for a mail order plant! Once you do a little prep work, it is stunning. Honestly, even though there were a couple hiccups, I would definitely order again. Once it arrives, immediately take it out of its container, remove as much of the soaking wet dirt as possible, and replant it in fresh DAMP soil. Do not water until the first two inches of soil dry out. Once you do that, the plant will thrive if it’s in the right light and temperature. ... show more

Absolutely beautiful, much bigger than expected ❤️ I couldn’t be more happy! Update PLEASE repot as soon as you get this plant. I normally quarantine my plants and of course the one time I don’t it had pest, Mealybugs to be exact. How do I know they came from this plant you ask? Look at the photos. The leaves were coming out messed up. Leaves were falling off. I thought it needed to bounce back after being shipped… boy was I wrong. It was in really bad shape. I had to remove ALL the dirt. Wash and soak the plant. It’s been a really long day. Now I have to treat over 40 plants that were close to this one, and keep an eye on the others. Though the plant came in rough shape, Costa farms refunded my money. I had bought one plant from them which has done very well. Since this monstera which arrived damaged, I have ordered two more plants from Costa farms and they are beautiful.
