  • This one dials back the clock. Who could ask for more?
Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I am trying to prevent wrinkles from forming, and I have tried many, many products, some inexpensive and some costly. I give every new product I try a couple of months to work, and I was all set to do the same with this one -- but it wasn't necessary. This product improves the appearance of skin immediately. I have only used it for a few weeks, but even if the changes are not permanent I'm happy to use it for the instant lift and brightness it gives. Since I dislike wearing make up (and when I do I use very little) I am delighted to find something that gives me the freedom not to use any cosmetics. I am really hoping I will see long-term and/or permanent results, but for now I am happy with what this product does for me. Things I like: This product is simple. It isn't loaded with chemicals, has no parabens (which have been implicated in breast cancer) or other ingredients that might harm the user or the environment. I've bought other products containing hyaluronic acid, but they contained such a small percentage by volume that they did no good at all. This product is pure, and unlike many things I've tried with long, complicated ingredient lists, it is highly effective. It applies easily. It has a strange feel if all you're used to are the heavier creams, serums, gels, etc. -- it is light, absorbs quickly, and leaves no greasiness because it contains no grease. I have to follow it with moisturizer (I use Avalon Organics, but I'm guessing any decent, organic product will do fine), and the result is little short of amazing. Little product is needed to cover face and neck. I use two drops, and that is more than enough. Since a little goes a long way, I have begun to use it on my hands as well, so far with hopeful results. I'll have to wait to see if those results are permanent. This is a once-a-day product for me. I use an organic soap, then this product and a moisturizer. No toners, special cleansers, etc. Simple, not expensive, and effective. For context, I am 61, look perhaps 40 thanks to genetics and no sunbathing, and this product has dialed back my age even more. I know I can't avoid wrinkles forever, but I believe this product just might help me hold them at bay. Given the rash of 5-star reviews on Amazon in which people announce at the end that they have written their reviews in return for free or reduced-price products, I feel compelled to add that I paid full price for this product and am reviewing it because it is excellent and deserves to be singled out. ... show more

  • This stuff works incredibly well, EVEN in a DRY climate. Just have to use it correctly.
Size: 1 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)
I'm older. My skin is changing. Wrinkles, bags and dry skin. Oh yes, they're freakin' happening. Hyaluronic Acid sounded like it might be one of the answers I was looking for. It seemed to be in everything that was coming out in 2019 but I don't really like to buy products with a boatload of ingredients I don't need. I like to give my skin what it needs on any given day and not overload it with duplicated ingredients or unneeded ones. So that led me to trying to figure out how you use hyaluronic acid in skin care. What does it do, how does it do it, what will affect its performance? And that can be kind of overwhelming, but it basically boils down to this. It needs moisture (I'm talking good ol' water) to work. Or at least access to it. HA's (I don't want to spell it every time) primary function when it comes to skin care is its ability to carry (bind) 1000's of times its weight in water. It's why it's one of the most moisturizing agents known to science. So you think, great I'll just slap it on my face and I'll be good to go. Yeah, not so much. It matters when you put it on, what you put on after it, and the climate where you live. After I clean my face & do my wash-off GA peel, the FIRST serum I reach for is the hyaluronic acid. (This is the night time routine. Putting this on in a dry climate during the day will DRY you out.) I don't spread it all over my face. I put 2-3 drops in the palm of my hand, and with a finger I tap it into the areas I want to target with it. For me, that's under my eyes, my eyelids and around my mouth and ON my lips. Be careful around the eye area. I don't take it up right under the eye or close to the eye on the lid area. I don't rub it in my eye area either, just to be safe. I always tap, placing it in the area farthest from the eye first and tapping toward the eye. I've never gotten any in my eye, so I don't know if it stings or not. HA is an ingredient that is included in some treatments for the eyes, so I imagine it's probably safe.....but I'm not a doctor or a chemist so.....yeah, use good judgement on your own body? Anyway, it also comes in a pill form to be taken as a supplement (it is naturally occurring in the human body) so I don't have a problem using it on my lips and mouth area. I've got fine lines there that need plumping. After that I continue with the rest of my serums & moisturizer. There are a few things you can't do if you're living in a dry climate and one thing YOU MUST DO in order for this to work. Avoid putting any products on your face that are occlusive, meaning anything that basically seals your face. Think oils or heavy moisturizing creams that some people use to lock in the products so they have the best chance at absorbing into the skin. This creates a barrier that defeats the purpose of using HA. It needs access to moisture, and if it can't get it, it will take it from the closest possible place.....your skin. Which is why some people say it dries their face out. So you're probably wondering how it's going to possibly work in a dry climate? As I said, it's part of my night routine and it's what I do right before I go to bed. On my bedside table I have a humidifier (mine has a spout on it that allows me to control the direction) that blows a cool mist over my head all night. Anyone who's living in a dry climate should do this for their skin, whether you're using HA or not. It's the absolute best thing I've ever done for my skin. In the lip area, I still use a sleeping mask over the HA some nights, I just make sure it's not something that's got a heavy occlusive oil in it. You can google the ingredients in the product to find out if they're a barrier to moisture or not. There is no scent to HA, it's a safe ingredient to use in skin care, it does amazing things for your skin, and ANYONE can use it.....it just might require a few tweaks depending on where you live. ... show more

  • Great product
Size: 2 Ounce (Pack of 1)
I really like this product. I see great results and improvements with my skin when I use it regularly. For the price it is an absolute STEAL. If you're on the fence about giving it a shot you should definitely give it a try. I've had a 1 oz bottle for 3 months and barely made a dent in it. I reordered simply so I could leave one at work where I often have to stay overnight. A 1oz bottle could likely last me upwards of 9 months or more, which is absolutely astounding for the price. Pennies a day to achieve what shelves worth of expensive products never really did. My only issue with it is that I really hate the dropper bottle. I'd much prefer the cap that allows you to just push down to dispense product, but you have to buy a really huge bottle to get that option. I believe it's only the 4 oz bottle that comes with it. That would be almost 4 years (or more) of product at my current usage, and not only would I not keep the same opened bottle that long, it would be too large to fit conveniently in my bathroom vanity. The dropper is really inconvenient, and I'm always afraid I'm going to knock over the bottle while I have the top off. You have to take the top off, apply the product to your hand, and then you're left to decide if you want to try to put the top back on one handed while the product drips off your hand and ends up wasted on the counter, or if you just set the dropper back into the bottle and finish applying the product to your face, hoping that you don't forget to go back and screw it back on when you're finished with the routine. It would be awesome if they offered the 1 or 2 oz bottle with the pump top rather than that dropper. I would have no complaints at all then! ... show more
