    • Perfect family camping tent. Easy set up, no leaks!
Can't beat the price! Sometimes you get what you pay for, but sometimes you just find a great deal. This tent is a great deal! We used it for two weeks straight with two adults on a queen sized bed and two kids (2 and 4) on a full sized mattress. It is true to advertised size in that it will fit two queen mattresses but without a lot of room (maybe two feet along the front wall to walk across. The full size mattress left just enough space at the bottom for some storage of bags and a box of books and toys. If you are looking to fit in two mattresses and have some "living room" in your tent, you should size up. If you are only using one mattress there is plenty of leftover space for two chairs and a table. The set up and take down are as easy as advertised. One person can put this up in a few minutes (and faster once you've done it a few times). Unfold the uprights, lock them in place, hook on the tent fabric and stake it down. The fly just ads a minute more to throw over the top and also fasten to the poles and stake. Putting it away is a little slower, mostly because it is tricky to get it folded up small enough to fit in the bag but, after a few minutes of work, it does go back in the bag. While camping we had several days of heavy downpours and windy storms. The tent passed with flying colors. No leaks, at all. I loved the overall design of the tent with huge windows. Well ventilated with more vents on the top and also along to bottom on two sides. The top gear loft was perfect for a light and a few things we didn't want to kids to be able to reach. The huge wall organizer was a life saver for keeping things within easy reach for the kids like flashlights, socks for cold feet in the middle of the night and my youngest stuffed animal that he sleeps with every night. It was easy to get in and out of the tent although, as other reviewers have mentioned, the zipper does tend to get caught on the fabric around it. I’m not joking when I say the wife and I had this set up in a minute and a half. Took a minute to get it laid out and 30 seconds or less to pop it up. So check off that ease of setup. Lots of design to move air through this tent which is great for those hot days. The whole top is mesh netting, also has 6 screen windows and the doors also have screen mesh for even more airflow, and both sides have a bottom screen vent that you stake out. The screen vent is the entire length of each side. It is dry! We didn’t get rain when we took this out the first time but I seen it on the forecast when we returned home, so I set it up in the yard. My idea was better to know when we are not in it rather than when we need it to stay dry. It was a good storm all afternoon and night with multiple downpours. The outside “door mats” do pool water which I could see being annoying. The inside of the tent however was 100% dry. No leaks or condensation. The rain is loud with this rain cover but it’s DRY. And this test was done without a footprint, so the flooring was built well for water. This is a big tent and will accommodate a large family. My advice is to make sure the poles are pulled out and staked so the wind isn’t pushing the walls in with slack. If anything changes, I will update this review. So far this tent has outperformed my past tents with the elements. OH!! And for freaking once! Finally a tent that fits back in the tent bag with plenty of space left!!! Say goodbye to the stress of making that tent fit back in. No more do overs!! The bag is well built and made to move around!!! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This was my first time ever putting up a tent! It took me about 75 minutes! I have never put one up before! This was really simple & straight forward to do! Watch the videos if you get stuck. ( I’m writing about the 12 person tent. In green/gray). It’s nice looking! I ‘m a 50 something yo mom & Im 5’4 inches tall with no previous experience. So if I can do it anyone can. You do need to have some kind of reasonable strength tho. It took me longer to get the thing out of the shipping box! Lols.. Then there’s another box that says Core, then the zippered bag. Everything came nicely packed with foam padding to protect all the joints and points on the rods. Everything arrived in perfect condition. The tent I received has a footprint or floor that is already attached. It is not removable. All the zippers function perfectly. Just be careful on the bottom of the doors where the rain flap is so it doesn’t get caught. If you’re doing this by yourself follow the instructions to spread the tent out all the way on a flat surface. Then pull the elbows out and hold the last one as you move around to the other side to open the others. (It’s structured something like a mini fold up umbrella . ). Each elbow kind of locks into place if you’re doing it right. When you’ve got all the elbows up put the top rain shield on. Then extend & push each leg up to its full locking position. Alternate sides & anchor each point so the wind doesn’t take it. It’s a huge tent which can fit 2 queen size beds, or a blowup sofa a queen bed and a small table & chairs. I’ll lay a patio mat down to protect the floor & make it more cozy. I love that it has lots of windows with rain flaps that roll down & bottom air vents for cooler air to come in. BUt what’s awesome is that it has a door on each side. A double door & a single door. This tent will be a great addition to our 27 ft airstream & will serve its purpose for a hangout space with the teens & our two 75 lb dogs without getting eaten up by mosquitos. Great job Core!
