The media could not be loaded. You know, they're just OK. First, they aren't coffee colored like what you see in the description photo. They're more like, "I'll have a splash of coffee in my cream" color. When the sun light shines through, they are basically just a darker shade of white. I'm just glad they're in a separate room away from our other blinds that actually are a darker coffee color. Second, these are kind of a pain to open and close. The turning of the rod is really stiff and makes noise like it's struggling. I think something up there is wound too tight. Watch the video I've attached to this review to see what I mean. Also, when I reverse-close them so that the light shines up toward the ceiling instead of on my son's bed while he's napping, they are still open about a half inch which still let's a lot of light in up on the roof, so my son's room isn't even really dim when he naps. They did in a pinch, but in the future I'd spend more time into looking for a better quality blind. ... show more

We have not hung these blinds yet but they appear to be sturdy with aluminum frame on top and bottom and the color grey is very attractive. OK opened second box and broken. To bad we took the curtains and rod down. I am asking for a replacement.

The color is different than the photo. It has a lot of red. If you look closely, you see red lines. I know mahogany is a reddish brown, but this is brown and red striped effect. It really doesn’t match the room. It is okay at night but in the daylight, the red pops.

I purchased these blinds, believing that I could shorten the length as required. In the past, I would do this by popping out the small round plugs on the underside of the bottom rail. When I tried to pry the first one off, the plug split in two. I gave up. Now, my blind is far longer than needed, and that’s not an attractive look. On the positive side, I purchased many of these blinds, and the others didn’t need to be shortened and look quite nice. ... show more
