I had heart surgery in November and needed something that was lightweight and easy to use to clear light snow on our sidewalk, porch and patio in Upstate New York. I have a number of DeWalt 20V tools, so I was looking for a 20V Snow Shovel that was compatible with the DeWalt batteries. Ordered this right before a major snow. We got 8 inches and I put it the test. It handled the snow well. You can’t push it too fast. It will stop and you have to release the trigger and turn it back on. The support handle in the middle is rather cheaply designed. You can’t get it tight enough to stay. ... show more

    • My unit has failed. How do I contact Litekon for a replacement?
UPDATE: LIKETON says they stand by their product 100% but they won't stand by their commitment! The product page says they'll send a new one within 24 months without having to return the failed unit but say Amazon is the seller and has the units in their warehouse so Amazon has to send the replacement. Amazon says Liketon is the mfg so they have to send the replacement without sending the unit back. Lots of finder pointing but no one is standing by the commitment stated in big bold letters on the page. Don't be fooled! This unit works great, WHEN IT WORKS! Mine takes a second or to to start working but most of the time it never starts. When it does start I can go 3 or 4 feet before it stops and I have to keep squeezing the trigger to try to get it going again. If/when it starts I can do another couple of feet before it stops. The product page says if there's a problem in the first 24 months they'll issue a direct replacement after they're contacted via AMZ. HOW DO I DO THAT? THERE'S NOT CONTACT INFORMATION ON THE PAGE! AND RUFUS DOESN"T KNOW HOW TO CONTACT THEM. I'd really like one that works because it has the potential to be a nice unit. ... show more

I was pleasantly surprised as to how well this little thing worked. It saved my back from shoveling snow. You will need to use at least a 6ah or higher battery or it won’t have enough power to move any snow. The best battery I used is the 60v\20v DeWalt dual voltage.     • Works Great after you buy a battery...
This is a great little shovel - I'm actually quite impressed with how well it works! Is it going to move a foot of snow easily? Not at all. But it works wonderfully for an inch or two! It's perfect for sidewalks and much simpler than an old-fashioned shovel! My only real complaints are that it does drain batteries fairly quickly, so have an extra battery charged if you have a large area to clear, and it doesn't shut off real easily when it's running - I kind of had to wiggle the safety switch around to get it to shut off. But seriously, this is a great little snow mover and back saver. I would definitely recommend it! It's easy to assemble and the handle is somewhat adjustable, and it does a great job! ... show more

Cleared my driveway and deck using a 60v 9ah dewalt flexvolt battery with power to spare! Other than the odd stick that would jam it, this little shovel works great! Worth every penny!

    • Bolt/Knob Problem
The bolt only goes in on one side, it did not go through the pole through the hole on the other side. Tried it without the top piece and it still did not go through. Returning for refund.
