I recently go this product and I have to say this looks like a solid equipment for a perfect goatee even though I haven’t tried it out yet but initially it looks perfect. The sizing options are very good which helps to achieve the cut I am trying to achieve. I just wish the attachment for the chin guard was fixed to the product with an elastic band or something similar I feel like that would’ve been a better option but for now it’s a very good product. ... show more

I like that it has the little mechanism you can bite down on and it keeps it in place when trimming your goatee. The adjustablity is nice also. I run my goatee a little deeper under the chin area and this guide doesnt go that deep. But that was ok for me, I just adjust how I trim it on that area. Otherwise a decent product that let you trim up your goatee quck and easy without accidentally over trimming it. ... show more

Yes the first shave is impressive, but the plastic doesn't let you shave properly around the border of goatee. It interferes with your razor defeating the purpose of the perfect outline.

In 2009, I purchased my first GoateeSaver and like many other people, I thought it looked `interesting' and wasn't sure if it would work or not. I was tired of going through the process of shaving my goatee off because I couldn't get it just right. When I came across the GoateeSaver, I took a chance and bought it. I had to get used to the template, but after I got the feel for the GoateeSaver, I was completely sold. Yes, it took a few times shaving to get used to it, but I can honestly say that I don't know how I ever keep my goatee looking presentable (maybe it wasn't) without it but it is really easy now. It is also precise and predictable. The part that I like the most is when I finish shaving with it, the sides of my goatee have a sharp edge that really does look incredible. This Amazon purchase is my 3rd GoateeSaver to buy because I wanted one for my overnight bag and am giving my brother one because he keeps asking about my goatee (yes, it is a little odd, but he also thinks it looks good) . I also want to say that the company did take care of me when my house was totally destroyed in the 2011 tornado in Springfield Massachusetts. I wrote the company expecting to get a form letter back, but I got a nice reply. I was able to explain the situation and they sent me a free GoateeSaver and even picked up the postage :) One last item is that I read some of the 1 star reviews about it not fitting a larger face and I recently lost 80 lbs. and can say that it fit the larger guy I was and now the smaller guy that was always trying to get out. I hate buying products that turn out to be junk, but this is not one of those products. It has become so difficult to get an"Appointment" for a trim I had to buy this. (since when did men make hair appointments?" online no less?) The only hair above my waist is my Goatee. I like to keep it very neat. The Barbershop stays so busy, I just made a list of the tools my cutter used and bought them on "Amazon" along with this thing. It works well. When my girlfriend saw me using it she burst out laughing and said I looked like "Bane" from Batman. It was OK, I like to hear her laugh. ... show more
