I did massive amounts of research and shopping before buying this particular bike, and I'll start by saying this brand is far and away the best value in its price range if that's what your after. My wife has a 350w class 1 huffy, and this feels SO MUCH more powerful, the throttle only mode is awesome, I love it. It's everything I wanted at a price point that made it pretty easily obtainable. 4 stars only because, as others have said, the seat definitely leaves something to be desired. I've only ridden for about 5 miles and the seat is just not comfortable and somewhat painful lol. And I'm a normal size guy, 5"11, 170lbs, so it's not like I've got a whole lot of butt to support. All in all, however, an excellent e-bike, especially at the price point, and I am very satisfied with my purchase. Assembly was quick and easy, the controls are intuitive, and its just fun as hell to ride! Edit 11/5: Changed to 5 stars. My front brake caliper disintegrated at some point, I didn't realize that it had happened until I went to adjust my front brakes because they hadn't been working and the back half of it had left the chat. I emailed them about this and they provided me another disc and caliper free of charge and pretty quickly, I'm very happy with that experience. But I changed my review because as others have said, during this exchange I also brought up the discomfort of the seat and they provided me with 20 dollars for a replacement. Solid, solid customer service. ESPECIALLY for a Chinese company servicing the u.s., I don't mean that in the wrong ways, it's just so easy for them to shtup us after we've completed a purchase and it's happened quite a bit in my own experiences so I really want to highlight and commend the customer service team here, they're doing great work! All of that being said, after a few months of my wife and I both owning this same bike now, I stand by my initial assessment. They are overall very high quality, durable, easy to use, fun to use, simple to assemble, I really can't think of a single negative thing to say about these bikes or the company that makes them. If your still for whatever reason on the fence about this bike or I'd even venture to say any of this company's products, it is definitely the one to get. ... show more

The Ancheer Gladiator is a great bike - I only have 6 miles on it so would like to provide additional review later. My biggest concern with ebikes is the battery - won't know about that for a while. So far..... Shipment was earlier than expected - assembly was easy - all the parts were there and fit. The functionality of the display, gears, throttle and PAS are as expected. I saw a video that said the throttle only worked in PAS 0 - not true - it works in 1-5 - which is what I would expect and want. The bike does go 22MPH as advertised. I weigh 190 and this bike has the power in PAS 3 downshifting a little to get me up the hills which my previous bike could not do even in PAS 5 lowest gear - however this bike is 48V the old bike was 36V. The brakes do not stop me as fast as the old bike. So I would like to give it a 4.5 however the option is 4 or 5 so I will give it a 5. ... show more

ASSEMBLY: having put together 3 of these, let me say, do not follow the instructions on YouTube or whatever. First thing, remove as little packaging as possible so you can access the battery and the area where the battery attaches. Get that battery charged up somewhat, plug it in, and turn on the display (on the handlebars). Shift down (on the digital display) to zero, and twist the throttle. If the back wheel spins and you get no error codes, continue with assembly. We got a bad batch and wasted time assembling only to find out that the bike was defective; so learned my lesson the hard way. The instructions say to put the kickstand on first; meh. I would attach the handlebars first, which allows you to flip the bike upside down and continue assembly in that position. Almost everything you need to install can be done upside down, including the kickstand. The only things you need the bike rightside up for are the one or two things that attach to the handlebars. The front reflector is a pain to get around the handlebar itself, you're gonna feel like you're going to break it. Find the slimmest part of the bar to finagle it around. Then you really have to crank down on the screw to tighten it. I decided to leave the manual bell off the 2nd bike we got; the horn is plenty. When you mount the digital display, do it as close to the left shifter as possible. The buttons to change your gear on the display are on the bottom of the unit and kind of far back, so you want them more easily accessible to your left thumb. Of course you can adjust as needed. RIDE: the cruise control is nice, although perhaps a little finicky to set. You have to shift down to zero on the display, then twist throttle to a set speed, and hold it for a few seconds. If you change your grip on the throttle, it won't take. When it engages, the display will change from '0' to 'C'. Once it's engaged, it's great. Other reviews have mentioned the seat. It's not comfortable but they actually are easy to swap out. I was looking at the clamp that goes around the seat post and it definitely doesn’t fit that. But the seats have “rails” underneath that did fit our other seats so it wasn’t a problem to swap. The handlebars sit too low for 'cruising'. We're not mountain bikers and bought this bike because of the price and features. It's not really great for casual cruising as delivered. You end up riding fairly hunched over. I don't know about range, but we rode around for about 2 hrs and didn't put a dent in the battery life. Power is great, cruise control is great. I do recommend this bike, especially for the price, with the caveat on the comfort factor - expect to buy a new seat. SELLER: when I had mentioned the uncomfortable seat in my previous review, the seller reached out to give me a credit to buy a new seat. That's way above and beyond. ... show more
