Well, my Aventus came in 1 day late from Amazon and that had me really worried. When it did arrive, there was no damage at all, but how Amazon packaged it, I am surprised that it didn’t arrive damaged! I don’t want to pretend I know what I’m talking about colognes because I don’t. But I do know this. It’s nothing I’ve ever smelled before. And for me, the scent lasts pretty long. My son seems to be taking over the Aventus. And from now on, I’m either going directly to The House of Creed or on their website. Looking forward to my next purchase of Creed. After I purchased Creed Aventus, I contacted Creed through their website to find out how I could tell it’s authentic. She sent me a link to their only authorized Amazon retailer which sent me directly to here. Hope that gives some peace of mind. One more important information. I decided to treat myself to a different cologne, and I had read so many good things about this scent. Well, it is a nice scent, but not what I excepted. It smells pretty much like Mont Blanc Explore. It also does not last all day, and that is 3-4 sprays around my body. I was not to impressed especially with the price, since most colognes that I purchase are a third of what this cost.
