Great little tool! I've been using it mostly to trim my goats' and ponies' hooves but I've also cut metal with it and it has enough power to deal with everything. It's lightweight, quiet and easy to maneuver. My only gripe is that the battery life is awful and it can overheat in really hot weather with heavy use, which makes the battery drain faster. ... show more

Pros: This grinder is brushed, and it sounded a bit rough until the brushes were broken in after several minutes of turning it on. Sounds fine now. It's got a strange shape like a potato, but it's actually good to grip. It cuts straight and hasn't bogged down with thinner metals. If it ever does bog down, I will reach for my larger (less handy) grinder. I was pleasantly pleased how well it worked the first time I used it. Cons: This grinder and cutoff wheel tool arrived unadorned of a case, but my pneumatic grinder doesn't have one either. There's no arbor lock, just flats for wrenches, but again, my pneumatic grinder does not have one either. Verdict: It's an odd little tool that works well. It fits in well with my smaller battery powered grinder, my corded Dremel, and my larger pneumatic grinder. I like it. Update: I've found this tool to be very useful. With a cutoff wheel it cuts fast and straight. Much more power than a Dremel, much more precise control than a pneumatic grinder. Upgraded to 5 stars. ... show more

This tool fit where I needed and gave a clean cut. The kit comes complete with tools needed and assorted blades for different jobs. Only thing lacking would be a nice case but there is a nice foam cutout so I will find one it fits. I used this to make around a 6ft cut in tile to remove a sink and it worked perfect only wish I had a vacuum connection to catch the mess. The size of this tool combined with its performance is where it stands out . The batteries are the size of the handle no big box hanging out the back makes confined areas easy. Then there is enough power to do a larger job with decent battery life and for most home DIY is large enough to do needed jobs and fits the needs that arise in complicated jobs. . . . . ... show more

I've really embraced the DIY lifestyle over the last few years. It started off mainly fixing my Jeep, then that spread to fixing the vehicles of family and friends, then to repairing things around the house, and now soon I predict I'll be building things for the house. It's fun, and lord does it save you a fortune. I've learned over the years that having the right tool for the job is critical. I've spent hours trying to fix something that could have been done in twenty minutes with the right tools. So I don't skimp on tools. I don't often use an angle grinder, and when I do I have a massive one, and for detail work I have my Dremel. There are times that a full size grinder won't fit (or is just too much) but the Dremel isn't quite up to the task, so when I saw this little grinder I jumped. It arrived in a plain box and includes the grinder, two batteries, a charger (the charger plugs into the batteries directly), multiple discs and wheels, and the hardware to change the discs. It did not come with a case or bag of any kind and I think this was a poor move. I would have much preferred a case. This is a cool little grinder! It definitely spins, and I played with cutting a bit with it. It's a weird blend of precision tool and meaty one. It's heavy and feels rugged, not cheap at all. Overall I'm thrilled with this acquisition. I have a rust-removal project for my Jeep coming up and this will be perfect for getting those harder to reach spots. I recommend! ... show more

I've been using this little mini angle grinder for about 2 months now and have been surprised by how useful it is. I've been mostly using it for cutting in holes in drywall and 1/4" plywood panels. I've also used it some for cleaning up small weld areas before priming and painting. It comes with 2 batteries included so I always have one charged up by the time that I need it. It also comes with 5 different discs for various uses and the tools necessary for changing out the cutting/grinding discs. I only wish it came with it's own little bag to keep everything together but I happened to have a small zipper bag that was part of a toiletries kit and decided to use that for storage. This tools compact size and ease of handling makes it great for limited space areas and portability. Highly recommend. ... show more
