This is a nice little angle grinder, I typically use mine as a cut off tool more than anything. This tool works as it should and have experienced zero issues with it. I cannot compare it to an actual Dewalt grinder as I have never used one, but it works just fine at a fraction of the price.

This Mellif brushless cordless angle grinder feels well-made and it works well. I have not used the grinding wheel that came with it, but I have used it with a flap disk to sharpen lawn mower blades and to sand/grind bark off live edge boards. So far this cordless angle grinder has been getting the job done. I have a corded name brand angle grinder that I have used for years. Build-wise, the Mellif angle grinder has a solid feel and it feels a lot like my name brand one. Work-wise, my corded angle grinder has a higher RPM and has more power than the Mellif - but the Mellif was easily able to get the jobs done I threw at it. I am a home DIY'er. I might use an angle grinder once a month - so this Mellif angle grinder will probably last me for years. It feels well-made but, it's not super heavy-duty and I'm not sure how long it would last in a professional environment. This the tool only, so it does not come with a battery. Color-wise, this angle grinder is a dead-ringer for a DeWalt tool, especially once the battery is inserted. But that is a minor reason to like it -- more importantly, performance-wise it is also a dead-ringer for a DeWalt, offering versatile power settings, a solid but lightweight feel, and complete compatibility with batteries that will fit DeWalt tools (it does not come with a battery). It also comes with printed directions that are clear overall, not something I have found common in imported tools. Honestly, the only criticism I have, and it's minor, is the button to switch power settings is too small, in my opinion, and I wonder about its longevity. But, if you need a cordless angle grinder, I recommend this one. ... show more

I've got a DeWalt corded version of this but there are many places on my property that cords are not going to reach so I thought I'd give this a try. It feels good out of the box, went together well, everything seems solid. I wouldn't call the included wheel a cutting wheel, it's to thick, it's more like a grinding wheel but no matter. Stock 20v batteries slide right in an it fires up and gets to work without issue. The washers are good quality, the wrench is standard, thumb lock is good. I put a wood grinding wheel on it and had some fun - I sure don't miss the cord. Then I put on a paint removal disk and there is where no cord shines. Getting paint off a barn means you are all over the place and it's lighter weight and no cord made this a winner. Nothing wrong with this but I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because I'm just not sure about long term use. For DIY, it will be just fine. I fall sort of in the middle usage. Not full time pro use but not once a month either. So far zero complaints. If you have Dewalt batteries already, I would suggest this unit for sure. ... show more

I cringed at first when I went to use this and forgot it did not come with a battery but quickly remembered the title in the description reading, "it works with the Dewalt 20-volt battery" which I have plenty of. The first job I used it for was a piece of steel wire mesh was sticking up on my driveway through the concrete, this angle grinder was quickly able to grind it down without messing up the driveways concrete at all (like a power tool surgery). The battery life is equivalent to the DeWalt drill which is real good with healthy batteries. The included side handle will work on either side of the tool. It comes with the grinder wheel removal tool as well. This is a five star product all day. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I received the cordless angle grinder on time. It is made of high quality material and by the weight of it I know it will be durable. The price was what attracted me to this grinder which I plan to use on a DIY paver project, but I know will be useful for a lot of other projects. I had to take away a star because it was missing the tightening bolt to clamp the guard onto the tool head. Fortunately I have a boatload of random bolts and I found one that will work. I thought this would work with my older dewalt batteries but it needs the newer slide on type. I will try to update this once I get the proper battery. The battery mistake was all mine. This MaxMore is a pretty nice cordless angle grinder that is about half the cost of a real DeWalt tool. My 20V DeWalt batteries work great in it. It comes with a 4.5-inch wheel, but I put in a bit better Hitachi wheel. I've only used it a couple of times to clean up some of my woeful MIG welds and it worked great. Much lighter and easier to hold than my big Hitachi corded grinder. Time will tell how it holds up, but based on my experience with it so far it is a nice tool. ... show more

I sure hope this grinder ends up being durable. I really like it. I use these grinders mainly for power carving. This is light and comfortable to hold. I haven't got a lot of use from it so far, however, what I've done is impressive. I have two other cordless grinders and because of the weight and comfort I like this one the most. Time will be the next test. I think this is geared towards the DIY'ers and hobbyist. That is because of the overall construction. For the price it's a total bargain. ... show more
