One of the bands didn’t have the raised area to lock in the band. I just tightened a know and got it to work. Flashlight wouldn’t work with fresh batteries. Not a big issue. The sling is accurate using the included bearings and also with small stones.

I ordered this because I want to try sling shot fishing for carp. Sure I could spend $200 on a sweet set up but I have no idea if I will even like it. This is about the cheapest I can try it for and feel like I will get a real idea of sport. When I am fishing at night I see a few boats out there bow fishing for carp. I saw this and was like that looks a hell of a lot easier and cheaper. So for the price I think this is a solid buy. If you are just trying to get into a the sport of slingshot to see if you like it I think is a solid buy and will at least get you the feeling if you want to invest in better equipment. ... show more

I bought this out of boredom during the pandemic in April 2020. Initially I found this sport to be too easy. I could pick a target - generally speaking - and hit it. I found that as the target got smaller my aim was off. As the months rolled on , doing about 100 shots per month of 10mm steel ball bearings (all in 1 day), that my aim was improving. Eventually, all the provided set of of rubber slings broke. The replacement set, although stronger than the originals, also helped my accuracy somehow. I am new to this and it seems that an upgrade in the bands increases your abilities. So be prepared to buy at least 1,000 pellets of ammo and extra bands. Not because what is provided is bad. It is just that rubber breaks after so long - even tires run out of tread eventually. Also the 10 pieces of ammo provided would not be enough to hunt, kill zombies, or hurt butterflies... Overall I would buy this again. It is more accurate than my Daisy B52. The flashlight is crap. Buy one with a red light for night time use. Search Coast or try to find a laser sight that fits - if you do this please let me know what you bought. This is heavier than other wrist rockets, but the projectiles fly faster and are more accurate - than at least my Daisy B52, but yours could be better. You be the judge. ... show more

I would definitely NOT want to be on the receiving end of this! It comes with clay/metal bearings, and what I just put one of them through is insane! It has a very sturdy build. I do however have just a couple issues. First, the wrist brace could be a little tighter. And second, the two but caps that keep the leather wrist strap from slipping off need to be tightened before using it. I'm not quite sure what they thought the flashlight would do, but it definitely does not have anything to do with aiming, nor could you use it at night to hunt because it is ridiculously bright and would most definitely scare off any wildlife in the area. But hey, if you're lost in the woods and get bored you at least can target practice in the dark! I don't even bother with it to be honest with you, it just keeps losening and is just in the way. I don't see anything other than practice in helping you with aiming when it comes to a slingshot. Lasers and the like just wouldn't really work. But it's not that hard, and with a little practice you'll be fine. It's definitely NOT for kids though, and if you want your kid to be able to learn how to use one then I would suggest buying a cheaper one with one band, because this thing right here is no joke! You can definitely use this for small game, and possibly medium size game depending on the size of the bearing/ammo, and your aim. ... show more

It’s been over 3 years and it’s good as new fun shooting bearings at my big tin metal target cause it makes an awesomely loud ruckus! I put a laser where the flask light went which is super cool as well as intimidating for the low life’s I allowed to frequent my home before getting rid of them. Upon their return I won’t be shooting at tin metal targets ... show more

This is a nice design, that is mass manufactured out of materials that photograph well. It looks like a higher quality than it is. But I am happy with it, for what it is. It is a decent size for an average man's hands. It is more accurate than the normal wrist rocket slingshot. I like the magnet ammo holders on the cuff. It folds up well. It came with three complete bands,and two types of ammo. The rubber tubing is smaller than I expected. It seems a tad short for an adult male arm, but workable. The bad parts are: 1. The wood grips are nice looking plastic, that is just a shell and not a perfect fit for the metal. 2. The flashlight looks like it will not last long enough to ware a set of batteries. 3. The metal is good looking but not the brass that it is made to look like. 4. The pivot point on mine is looser than I would like. But once pulled back is firm enough. This is good enough for my purpose of scaring off coyotes. It leaves me wishing for a high quality version of this same design. Almost enough to try and cut real wood grips and wedge something into the pivot point to firm it up. But I will probable just use it as it is. I feel like I got what I paid for. ... show more
