This is a great basketball hoop for toddlers. My son is turning two and loves to play with this. He is obsessed with balls and throwing them so this is right up his alley. He loves throwing the ball into the net. The set up only take about 10 minutes and is easy to put together. We didnโ€™t extend it to the highest height but kept it shorter so my son could reach the hoop and dunk it. The entire thing is pretty sturdy. You can fill the base with water to keep it weighted down even more. The only thing that was a little less than perfect is the net is a little flimsy and doesnโ€™t stay where it should. But thatโ€™s not a deal breaker. My son loves this basketball hoop and gets hours of playtime on it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I got this basketball hoop for my three-year-old daughter and she enjoys it very much. The hoop comes with an orange ball and pump. The installation involves nine steps, described by pictures in the instruction manual. I made some installation mistakes that required redoing some of the steps, but it was not very complex overall. Although the pieces are numbered and named for identification in the instruction manual, there is no referral to their names or number in the installation steps, just the pictures are provided. It would have helped to mention at each step the name or number of the pieces to be used. The base can be filled with either water or sand. I used water, since I did not have sand available. The hoop is stable, but at the same time lightweight enough so that a person can carry it inside or outside as needed. The net needs to be secured to be tightly attached to the net. Initially, I just placed the net on the hoop without tightening and on a windy day it moved around the hoop often, needing frequent adjustment. Afterwards, I realized that the net can be tightened to the hoop. I have posted a video showing how I did it. It is nice that the height can be adjusted, I have used a bottom rod, a top rod, and only one intermediate rod for my daughter, but I will add another intermediate rod after she grows up more. It would have been useful to have a place for the ball to keep it together with the hoop for storage, but this is not a major issue.
