This was a Prime Day purchase to soften up our mattress a bit and it definitely adds a layer of luxury to a 5-year-old mattress. It puffs up well and adds cushion that makes us want to fall asleep faster, but during the summer months, we have both regularly woken up warm in the middle of the night or find most of the covers off in the morning. It breaths way better than synthetic materials and feel it is a good value for the money. If you are looking for something that will cool the body, this isn't it, you will want something with airflow or a cooling unit.     • Doesn’t last as well as I hoped… Not for daily use.

I was looking for a mattress topper that would buy me a little time before buying a new mattress. It arrived and I opened it and let it sit and fluff for 24 hours before putting it on the bed. At first it held up and was mostly comfortable. There were a few spots where it did not expand as much as others, but I just moved it around and put that area at the bottom of the bed. After about 3 months, the areas where we lay the most have compacted down and no longer have any padding. I have switched it around, taking it off the bed and shook it trying to fluff the areas back up and it will not bounce back to the original shape it was. The areas on the mattress pad where we do not lay are still fluffy. Since the other areas of the mattress are great….I would buy this again for a spare bedroom that is used for company but not for daily use….so I gave it three stars. ... show more
