It's surprisingly quiet and its compact size makes this unit great to take on vacation. It does a good job for its size but don't have unrealistic expectations thinking that it's going to replace a traditional air conditioning unit!

Updated Review: The company reached out to me this morning, saying that they have contacted the manufacturer of the unit and that they have an updated version that takes care of my issues. I am trying to obtain one of the updated units now to try out. I will advise after I receive it. I am impressed with the fact that they contacted me. Note: I am thinking that if you put very cold water in the unit, or ice water, that it would blow that cool out into the room; However, water at room temp would be just a fan in effect. First Review: I put it in my canvas tent (with windows and door shut) with the air inside the tent at 84 degrees and put the unit on 100% full speed. In two hours, it cooled the inside of the tent by 2 degrees, and it used a lot of power from my power bank to do only this amount. When I checked the temp of the air coming out it was basically just a fan with no colder air than the overall air already in the tent. Portable Air Conditioner is what it is advertised in the title and description as, and the information says it will cool "outgoing air by up to 25 degrees F." I returned it for a refund. ... show more

This cooler is tiny, but very effective. I keep mine next to wherever I am sitting and it has worked very well so far. I use it on the lowest setting and it last around 5 hrs of cooling.
