  • Very nice looking ARGB fans that I used on my case
Style: 120 Halo 3n1 White
The media could not be loaded. These fans work great as top exhaust fans in my build. The push a great amount of air, and I love the addressable lighting. You can set it to a single color or to react to your games or music or desktop color scheme. Or you can set them to go crazy in rainbow or other such effects as well. To get these setup is a little bit of a hassle as you have to connect 2 cables per fan, each ones has a power and lighting cable. You can daisy chain them together to take up less fan headers, and also daisy chain the RGB cables and then use a single ARGB header on the motherboard for lighting. Then you can control the lighting using a program like Aura on my Asus motherboard or others. Alternatively, you can use the included physical controller, but then you need to open the case or have it setup to hand out of the back of your case somehow to use the physical controller, so I chose the motherboard route of hooking everything up. The fans are a little louder than other fans in my case since they are 120mm and being used as top exhaust fans which are closest to be heard on the case and the intake fans are all 140mm and less loud. But it is not super loud or any weird noise, just air moving which cannot be heard while gaming at all. ... show more

  • Perfect balance of design and cost.
Style: 120 Halo 3n1
Bought these for my new build in a Corsair 4000D Airflow case. Bought the 3 pack plus a single unit. 3 fans for the front intake, one in back for exhaust. The "halo" on these make them standout against competitors from a looks standpoint, and the price point is reasonable also. I get that they aren't rated as high for airflow as some other fans, and some people prefer a full box design to the fan case. But, I'm just running an i3-10100 and a 1050Ti GPU, so I don't expect a ton of heat generation, and the new case is fantastic for airflow. I have all for fans daisy-chained, so the design of the leads for the fans works great. Yes, the leads reach from the back of the case to the front, so no extension sables are necessary. I have them plugged into the ARGB header towards the top front of my ASRock mobo. Cable management isn't an issue. I use ASRock's RGB management software, and it controls the fans perfectly. Fully compatible, as promised. My only minor gripe is the Cooler Master ARGB connectors which are apparently proprietary. The plug style doesn't attach to the header very well. It's staying in place, but isn't all that secure. Also, in the daisy chain, connecting plugs requires an additional Cooler Master cap, which they include (so no worries), to hold the two ends of the plugs together. It makes those connections very secure, but they are a bit bulky which is mildly annoying when you're trying to find a place to tuck them. Anyway, quiet fans, gorgeous look. Pretty happy so far. ... show more

  • Good But Not As Good as Corsair LL/QL
Style: 120 Halo White
So I bought these individual White MF120 fans and also some Corsair LL Fans that came with my AIO. I now have both fan types for comparison. MF120 Fans -These are actually good fans. They're quiet and programmable. RGB lighting looks good and they can blow hard when you make it so. I plugged the PWM fan tips into the 4Pin fan headers on my board and also daisy chained 3 of the front fans to plug it into the 3PIN ARGB headers into the board. The length did not allow my front fans and my rear exhause fan to daisy chain so I had to use another individual ARGB header for that rear fan. Luckily my mobo has two 3pin ARGB headers. Comparison to Corsair LL Fans -Man those corsair fans are expensive but you are paying for better RGB appearance and better controllability in iCue. The RGB leds on Corsair fans are INDIVIDUALLY controllable, You don't get this with Cooler Master Fans and MSI Mystic Light. You can only control ALL LEDS on Coolermaster Fans but not the individual LEDS. They're either all red, all blue, etc, or all rainbow. You can't make one blue and one red etc. Conclusion: If you want full controllability over LEDS and beautiful LEDS and are willing to pay the high corsair tax, go with corsair. If you want decent cooling fans with nice RGB and are on a budget, go with Cooler Master. I'm happy with my decision and will not be upgrading my Cooler Master fans. Hope this review helps for those who are on the fence about the two fans. ... show more

  • 3 years, no complaints.
Style: 120 Halo 3n1 White
They're good fans. I have been using them for 3 years with no complaints. They look fantastic and are perfect for a clean and minimal build style. I didn't want to use any special software so I use OpenRGB and they work great. Not too noisy either.

  • Awesome ARGB colors on a great pwm fan. Worth Every Penny and More.
Style: 120 Halo
I absolutely love these. The MF120 Halo's are what inspired me to buy the MF200 ARGB's which I have 2 on top and 2 in front that you cant see from the pics. I am going to be buying a MF140 halo to beef up my exhaust and I might buy 2-3 more MF120's to replace the 3 120's that are on the top. The only issue I have is that the MF120's seem to circle the colors in the opposite direction of the MF200's and the SF120's. This is the main reason I do not have a bottom/top 3 row of the MF120's under the 2 MF200's and instead used a different brand that are not as vibrant and as awesome as these. If anyone knows an easy way to make the ARGB's change direction please let me know as that would allow me to get 3 more MF120 Halo's, and the outside ring changing colors and patterns separately from the middle is one of the coolest features. The MF120's are, in my opinion, one of the best looking, lowest priced and highest Air flow with fans you can get on the market to date. The only improvement would be on the noise level which is far lower than the ambient sounds in my house, so its not needed as far as I'm concerned but that is the one area that could be improved if I'm looking my hardest. ... show more
