I have a 21 foot above ground pool. I bought these steps for two reasons - the width of the steps and the ability to attach them (the handrails) to my new deck. They are great. Very easy to assemble. Steps are quite stable. Handrails are a bit wobbly, but they were long/tall enough to extend past the height of the deck. After a GREAT DEAL of deliberation, I used pool filter sand to weigh down the steps. Seems to work fine. Just two of us were able to sink the steps. With the sand and water filling the remaining cavities, the steps are stable. ... show more

Very simple for one person assembly. Not hard at all. Filled the bottom with pea gravel and placed in the pool by my self. Great product. Would highly reccomend purchasing.

These stairs are exactly what we were looking for in this price range, and we've loved them. Sturdy, easy to assemble (but not to install) and a good value. I'd give 5 stars, except for the challenge of getting them to stay down and in place in the pool. We filled with water vs sand, then finally had to add rocks to keep it down. I purchased two of these because I hated the flimsy ladder the pool came with. We attached them together. Assembly was easy. It has nice wide stairs, rails for stability (I have bad knees and need a rail) and it makes it so much easier to get in and out of the pool! Totally worth the cost! The only slight downfall is that the stairs are taller than normal stairs, but I'll take it even though, and still love them! Very happy with my purchase!! ... show more

The ladder that come with the pool is not that sturdy for me, for kids it is fine, but I am heaver person so i bought these and having a small deck built and now it is perfect. The only negative is the hand rails are not the best, the shake but as you don't really use them that much it is ok, but they should improve them. Super easy to put together I did it by myself no hubby. You will need more that 40lbs of sand to weigh down if you don't attach to a deck. We will screw to deck eventually just not yet. Well made but steps are far apart for small dog.

These were easy to assemble and nice looking steps. Too early to determine how they will hold up- the hand rails could be sturdier! We also opted not to add sand and temporarily zip tied weights to the sides to keep the steps down and it’s worked for now.
