The CONFAST Nylon Self-Drilling Drywall/Hollow-Wall Anchor Kit is a budget-friendly gem – way cheaper than Home Depot or Lowe's. If you follow the easy installation, these anchors hold up well. Good bang for the buck!

  • awesome way to mount on non stud (behind) surface
Size: 50 Style: Zinc
wall anchors are ok, used them for years, but these take that concept to the next level- actually purchased for hollow door mounting, and they worked so well, I knew they would be ideal for drywall - which is their original purpose...punch hole where you want to place, I use an impact driver with phillips bit, and drive them flush , then use the provided screws to secure whatever you are mounting ....fy....this review is for the METAL ones, not sure the plastic ones would do as well...ymmv ... show more

  • These Are It!
Size: 50 Style: Zinc
So, these are good, considering you don't need a drill and drill bit to get these into drywall. They're made of zinc. Thet're a little brittle--which mean you MUST take your time to screw them into drywall. I purchased these to fix a make-shift screw job holding a paper towel dispenser at the job. Seems no one wanted to do it correctly so I took upon myself to make it shake. Im a DIYr. I have plenty of drywall anchors, but they require a pilot hole from a drill. I didn't want to make any noise or be seen doing something "I didn't have any business doing." So, why not try something like these screw-in joints. I'm glad I gave them a shot. One worked fine because I took my time. The other was a little brittle and broke on me, but was still usable and I got it in the drywall with further no issues. Feels good doing things that no one knows I did, and it's a good job at that. That's the definition of leadership, yo. I caught those values earlier on during my television career, and it never left me. Shout out to Tom Jacobs. Matthew Mixon. Ms. Willie. Ray. Vickie Newton. Jim Scott. They didn't know they were preping a leader with their humble style of servant-leading at the time....and now that Im 34-years-old. My chest stickin out like Wyle E. Coyote when he sees a singin' diva on stage. Woo woo! ... show more

  • Great for Mounting in Sheetrock
Size: 25 Style: Nylon
These worked great for what I needed them for. I did have a few of them break before entering, but it might have been because there wasn't enough of a bit hole for them to penetrate. I used them to mount cat shelves on a wall into the sheetrock as my studs were not always aligned with where the shelf needed to go. They worked wonderful once completed. ... show more

Working great, so far I didn’t break any. Strong enough to hook heavy mirrors. Happy with the product.

  • Sturdy and useful
Size: 50 Style: Nylon
These are easy to use, hold lots of weight, and I don’t need a drill (am I supposed to? I didn’t read the instructions) Pros- lots of them, good price, works well Cons- the holes I made in the wall before I bought these

  • As good as any other I've tried over the years
Size: 25 Style: Nylon
Current project is mounting wooden shelves inside closets and these worked well. Absolutely no issues with test weights on the first two shelves I put up so I didn't bother to check the remaining ones. A couple of heavy toolboxes stayed up there overnight without crashing and waking me, so that was good enough for me. I've already ordered a second batch for spares for the next inevitable project. ... show more

  • Not Quite Like the Originals
Size: 100 Style: Zinc
These CONFAST drywall anchors are almost identical to the old style drywall anchors sold at hardware stores, with one caveat: The outer flange is slightly more concave, is weaker, and has a tendency to separate from the main body (screw section) when either drilling or carefully hand screwing it into drywall. Although the anchors are similar in appearance, the differences are mostly in weight and strength of the metal used -- the old style are heavier and much more solidly constructed. Well, isn't that the case with a lot of things being manufactured these days? The workaround: It's been my experience to pre-drill when needing to use this type of anchor for accuracy. And that's still the case, however if you want these anchors to be flush with the drywall when you're finished, you must first use a utility knife to cut away any drywall protruding from the drilled hole, and make the drywall surface smooth. Then you screw the anchor into the drywall until it's pretty snug against the wall. It wont be quite flush, but if you continue to screw, it will cause the flange to separate. At this point, I take a small hammer and hit the flange and anchor against the drywall, reshaping the flange to countersink into the drywall. Then I hand screw it in maybe a quarter turn more, but very gently. I had used this box of 100 anchors for remodeling a kitchen pantry with new shelves, and am still seeing that--even with using the method I describe--about three out of ten anchors will separate, tearing the flange off from its base. It's not great, but the best solution I've found for using this brand of anchor. And I haven't been able to locate any other anchors of this type. So, unless the manufacturer chooses to use a better quality metal, that's what we get. Yes, I'll be buying other types of anchors in the future to see how well they compare, but that's money I could've been giving to CONFAST had they produced a top quality product to begin with. ... show more
