Aside from the fact that the included lav mic died very quickly, the wireless transmitters themselves work a treat. There are a few buts though: the battery usage on these is intense. I almost wish it took battery packs that I could swap out instead of AAs. The range is okay, and overall you do get pretty decent performance for the money.     • Didn't work on iPhone 11 for me
This device is advertised to work with an iPhone. I have an iPhone 11 and went through three different cable combinations to try to make it work. I even bought a $50 Saramonic cable out of desperation, but still no luck. It's past my return window so now I'm stuck with it and will have to use it with my Sony camera, which sucks because it's not as portable. ... show more

Bought this set six months ago. Put it through relatively light use. It now records with a constant background hiss. I checked the reviews here for possible answers and found that the majority of the negative reviews about this set focus on the exact same problem I'm having. Per Comica's response to one of the reviews, I tried switching to different channels and played with alternate settings with zero success. I definitely regret this purchase. UPDATE 2/22/20: Okay, this has become the only sub-$200 wireless mic setup that I find to be reliable in terms of performance. And I purchased (and returned) several other sets for comparison. I don't recall how long after I wrote this scathing review that somehow I got the audio settings to where the hiss is no longer an issue. I'm still not loving the plastic construction and antennae but while it's not "pretty", it works and in the end, that's really what matters. ... show more

Getting this microphone kit was probably the best decision I’ve made for my YouTube channel. Now that I’ve gone wireless I can be farther away from my camera and still have fantastic sound quality to where my wired mic only gave me the ability to be 10 feet away from the camera. This microphone set up works with a wide variety of different cameras and cell phones. To use with a cell phone it will require a TRS to TRRS adapter which is sold separately. Right now I use a simple Canon Vixia video camera, so if I ever upgrade my camera, this mic will surely work with it. It comes with a very nice zippered case with foam padding to protect the equipment while not in use. ... show more

I got the is mic to complement my shotgun mic that I have been using for vlogging for the past 9 months. After using it for a video about whether a shotgun mic or a lav is better for vlogging I am impressed. The audio remained clear as long as i was within range without cutting out. It has a headphone jack that I really enjoy having since my M50 does not have one. the connections seem solid just make sure you plug them in fully. I want to use this not only with the included Lav but also plug a shotgun mic in for a boom mic that way I don't have to run cords. My only issue is that the range may not be as good as advertised. Now I never intend to push the range and I don't think it makes sense to try and get audio so far away that you can't see the subject in the video. So I would say the range is plenty good enough for every application I have. Bottom line this Mic works very well for YouTube. I would suggest it to anyone that needs a budget Lav system. ... show more

Originally purchased for a travel set when flying to locations and used in the conditions I would not want to use my nicer gear but was so blown away by the clarity and range I bought another set and use them all the time along with my 600 dollars sets. The menus are very intuitive and the channel switching is easy. the screens are backlit and the belt loops are made of wire and haven't broken yet. The battery compartment is a little flimsy but if you just take your time and go easy it will last as mine has done fine. If for some reason the battery latch does break they have a replacement but you can tape the compartment closed to get through the shoot. The mike they come with is decent and actually comes with a dead cat cover that works pretty well. I like to use this set for the talents that are rough with gear and it has proven to be a bombshell piece of gear. ... show more

    • Locking feature does not stay unlocked
I want to use the mute. But I was told that to do so I have to first unlock on the font panel then press on mute. Then it will lock again so have to repeat the process. I would like it so that I don't have to keep unlocking to use the mute. It should not have to be a 2 step process. I haven't figured out anything different. ... show more

    • Hissing, high white noise type sound
There is a constant white noise, constant hissing type sound. It slightly goes away while talking. Almost sounds like listening to a waterfall. This is very annoying. I wanted to make Youtube videos using this equipment, but couldn't imagine people listening to the annoying white noise sound. I tried changing to different channels, changed the RF and LCF settings, volume settings, and nothing helped. Was tried with my Nikon D3200 DSLR. Don't have any other mics or cameras on me to try it with. Ive watched Youtube reviews and they didn't appear to have the same issue, but I see the issue in other reviews on here. ... show more
