If you’re not sure whether to get — just get it. I just got out of my first session using the new pads and head strap. I wore my quest pro for 2 hours straight in total comfort, whereas before I would start to get sore and uncomfortable after 30 minutes. Worth every penny, and must buy for anyone with a Quest Pro. Larger fabric pads are easy to launder in a delicates bag. Forehead pad is like twice as big and REALLY helps spread out the weight. Cushiony top strap lets you wear the Quest Pro much 'looser' than with the pads it came with while keeping it steady on your head. Feels like wearing a quality motorcycle helmet, hardhat, etc. You know, you forget it's there after a few minutes. Some very minor changes to the base Meta design and it reminds me of a cross between the Quest One Head strap with a cushion, HTC's deluxe audio headstrap, and Bobo VR's Quest 2 halo strap. Top strap loops also made it easy to zip tie a smol cinch bag for a basic battery bank (I'll probably design a 3D print mount at some point) If you picked up a Quest Pro and had headache/comfort issues after an hour of use, consider Globular Cluster's kit. Meta 'almost' nailed the balanced and weight distribution. Slightly bigger cushions and a top strap would have made the Pro in line with the Index when it comes to comfort. Seeing people 'trying' to attach the Apple Vision Pro battery to the back of the strap as a counter weight just proves that Meta had the right idea. This kit comes with multiple options which I personally really apreciated since i was using a padded strap from a different brand's battery kit that I ended up not liking. This kit includes a non-padded strap as well as a padded one and that's awesome. The fabric is on par with, if not better than that of the stock Valve Index facial interface (its very pleasant on the skin) and the cushion under the fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable for very long play sessions. The forehead pad size increase, though seemingly small, makes a whole world of difference at spreading the preassure making it far more comfortable while wearing the headset tight during high movment activities. And the head strap allows you to comfortably wear the headset looser while maintaining stability during less intense activities. It's maybe a little tricky to figure out how to properly secure the forhead pad portion of the kit, but that's stated in the product description and they include a guide booklet and even have a video to help you (despite that, I still initially thought my kit was defective because I couldnt get the forehead pad to hold) but thats literally the only gripe I have with this kit and its entirley user error. I've never written a review on Amazon because i've yet to receive a product that I've felt compelled enough to write a review on either end of the spectrum. Until now. If you're looming for a comfort upgrade THIS is the kit for you. It absolutley does as advertised, and even more. Worth every penny. ... show more

I have a QuestPro with a tracker on the forehead. To withstand the forward weight, I had to tighten the dials. That caused chronic headaches... A single belt eliminated all pressure! It is worth the $40. The cloth forehead pad is breathable and cool. Very comfortable. I opted for the rubber pads because I needed the grip against forward Tracker's weight. The only major issue is that the holes in the forehead pad are little loose. It takes very little force to dislodge the pad. While in use, it does not fall out because of the forward pressure, but when carrying the HMD with the parietal belt, I worry that it will fall out. Please make the hole a little tighter. Postscript: The forehead pad keeps falling off! I followed the instructions in the introduction video, but the plastic claws are not well secured, and when I hold the headband and move it, it easily falls off and drops the HMD. I am now using adhesive tape to hold the forehead pad in place, but it seems to eventually fall off unless I use glue. PS. v2 is now available!! In v2, the forehead pad has been improved, so that it is less likely to fall off! (A great improvement!). Also, a cushion strap and a non-slip silicone cover for the back head has been added! (Need to search for Globular Cluster on Facebook and join their Discord) With the v2 upgrade, this strap has become my favorite product. I hope they continue to make attractive accessories in the future. PS.PS. I bought replacement forehead pads because they had become soiled with sweat. You can request the purchase of paid replacement forehead pads on the official Discord. (if they are in stock). ... show more

    • Feels good and actually stays mounted to headset properly
Bought a couple of these kits for my son and me. I originally had the VR Panda version of this kit, and enjoyed the feel of it, but for whatever reason the front head pad would not stay attached. Globular Cluster has managed to correct that issue, so this kit works flawlessly in making the Meta Quest Pro feel much more comfortable. If you are having comfort issues with the Quest Pro, give this a shot. It will likely solve them. ... show more
