The media could not be loaded. Horrendously noisy. I work in an open office so the noise this thing produces is really distracting for those around me. Due to very evident poor construction quality it's constantly squeaking/rattling and it likes to slowly spin until it hits whatever internal adjustment mechanism is in the base. My sister and I share a room and we're always fighting over the ceiling fan. I have it full blast because I like air circulating and I get hot and she gets cold. I would wake up sweating because she would turn it down when I would fall asleep. So I clipped this to my bed and I don't wake up sweating anymore and we're able to keep the ceiling fan on low and keep this little fan full blast. I love it!     • Amazing for the price
I needed a new clip on fan since the one I bought for college started squeaking and smelling like burning plastic. I overheat easily and hate my roommate so I need a breeze and white noise to pretend I don't have another person perminetly fixated on her bed in my room. This thing is great! It looks exactly the same as my old fan which scared me when I opened it but it's so much better. It has a switch on the back instead of a dial like my old one. The high setting gives off a decent breeze considering it's size. I also have it set up so the back of it is touching a wall. The old one would rattle, but this one is completely silent! Came packaged as having to attach clip to the fan, but easily done without tools, thanks to good design. I bought this for my desk at work and it performs great. *UPDATE* As of today (owning it for just a few weeks), the blade assembly has started to slip, causing a noise that I first thought to be a bad motor brush, based on the sound. As it turns out, the blade assembly presses onto a smooth shaft and grips only by a 3 'prong' opening on the back of the assembly. Point being, it has the very high possibility of not holding well. I managed to fix it by using some well placed scotch tape, and hopefully it will hold up, but I guess this design is what keeps the manufacturing costs down allowing me to obtain it so cheaply. I feel I must remove a star for this, but I won't because I still feel it's a good value. ... show more

    • Nice little personal fan
Nice, quiet 2 setting personal fan. My boys like having these on their bed headboards so they can have the fan right on them. The only complaint I have is that the click on (to hook to the headboard) isn't really very "tight" so it sometimes falls off the headboard if you don't get it clipped in just the right spot/way. Listen, lots of people complaining...but honestly, it is CHEAP to buy and serves its purpose. If you buy a small, personal clip-on fan for this cheap, what do you expect? It works fine and my boys having them right there clipped to the beds...so, yeah, take this review as you wish....but, also please realize that all of the people complaining should maybe expect a little less from a cheap little fan...?! ... show more

This is a great little fan!! It clips, it tilts, and it lasted a lot longer than I expected. I just got a new one, because the ball bearings or something in my last one were wearing out; it started making loud noise but otherwise worked fine. I'd been using it all night every night for at least 8 months a year for 5 years! I consider this fan a great value and am confident you will too. ... show more

Quiet, great, clip-on fan. I highly recommend it. I bought this to replace a long-time, similar style fan. Quiet was very important to me. Good fan power and oscillating capabilities, were also equally important. This fan delivers very nicely on all those requests. I am using this fan in a small bathroom because after a shower, the bathroom can become hot. If I have to use a hair dryer it can get even hotter. The fan is clipped on to a lucite shelf, and plugged into a power strip. I can easily adjust the direction of air, or I can have the fan oscillate. This is the most handy little fan and one of the best purchases I've made off Amazon in a while. So far, I've used it in the bathroom because it's hot due to low ventilation and it works like a charm ... makes getting dressed so much easier. I open the cabinet door and clip it on. I've clipped it to my bed frame on extra hot nights when the AC was not keeping up or when the AC was not on and it gave just enough breeze to keep us cool. I'll be getting another one for work soon.
