I've been dealing with lower back pain (bulging disc) from a weight lifting injury for months. I unfortunately have a very long commute to work, and an office job, so all the sitting wasn't helping things. I decided to start looking at seat pillows to help alleviate some of the pain and settled on this one. Let me just say it's a game changer. I ended up buying one for around the house too, since the original I keep in the car and office. The cushion itself is the perfect size for the average person. The construction itself is very well made, and quite honestly the pillow is a great value for the money. I'm glad I started with this one over the way more expensive pillows out there. The pillow, while soft and cushioned, holds its shape very well and does not flatten out too much to the point that it isn't effective. It may over time with heavy use, but to date its holding up well. One caveat to consider with this particular pillow is due to the gel filling, the pillow gets pretty solid when left in a cold vehicle. It will soften up after you sit on it for awhile, but if you find it's a big deal just bring it inside and keep it warm. Not a big deal for me, but may be for some people if you plan on leaving it in your car and don't want to deal with waiting for it to soften up. I gotta say, at first, it took some getting used to, but once I got comfy with it, I’m loving it. It's squishy and soft, but still supportive enough to make sitting for long hours at my WFH job way more tolerable. I’m on the heavier side, and it still works great—no sinking too far in or anything like that. It’s even corrected my posture (whether I like it or not), which is actually a positive thing since I was slouching way too much before. The cushion kinda forces you to sit up straight, but in a good way. It’s been a lifesaver when I’m working at my desk all day. Also, it’s been a few months now, and this cushion has allowed me to put off buying a new chair for a little longer. Pros: - Really squishy and comfy once you get used to it - Corrects posture (even if it’s against your will) - Works even if you're on the heavier side - Great for long sitting sessions - Lets you put off buying a new chair for a while Cons: - Takes a minute to get used to the feel - Can feel a bit firm at first (but softens up over time) Overall, I’m really happy with it. I am a truck driver and drive 620 miles a day. I have sciatica nerve pain down my left leg. I am 63 it hurts. The pad helps tremendously as the nerve is no longer aggravated by the flat worn out seats in the trucks.

This works really well for work, long drives and/or any situation you need to sit for a long period of time. I unfortunately have situations where I am stationary for a lot of time, but this is most helpful. Solid product that has not lost its shape.

I've had this seat cushion since February of 2021 and it's currently November of 2024. I use it every day, for long periods of time, and it's still just as comfortable as when I first bought it. It's helped prevent sciatica in my left leg, helps my bum not hurt from sitting, and it's fantastic with the back rest cushion from ComfiLife on my chair.
