Was a gift from my husband. Love the upper pocket that is easy to access, the zipper is on the inside, so you can just reach across to zip it open. I have a couple other coats I like, but the upper pockets all open from the outside, meaning you either have to be a contortionist to access them or wait to take the coat off. Lower pockets are nice and deep, so stuff doesn't fall out and the coat is nice and warm ... show more

I bought this coat for my Iceland trip and was super happy with it. I chose the coat because of it length and kept my back and legs warm. It is lightweight but very warm and is water repellant (useful with the all waterfalls in Iceland). The zipper was easy to size and the hood with the faux fur surprisingly kept my face warm from the icy winds. I am a size IT38 and small fit me perfectly (over two base layers and vest). This was my only black Friday purchase. I became frustrated with the rapid decline of rothco's products and wanted a change. Kept me cozy in 20-40 degree weather, once it hit 7 degrees I needed to have thermals on underneath. Cell phone pocket is so handy. Build quality seems to be better than some other columbia purchases I've made recently.u Coat is incredibly flattering and gives you an hourglass shape. True to size and a little form fitting on top. If you like to layer with bulky things I would size up. The fur on the hood is a little cheap looking but I don't hate it. Only issues I've noticed: no toggles for the drawstrings on the hood so they don't stay exactly how I'd like. I got this coat for a trip to Iceland, it kept me warm with minimal bulk. The double zipper works smoother than others I’ve had. The hood fits well however the adjustable cords don’t stay adjusted well. The color is vibrant. Sleeves are long for a petite frame, no inner cuffs to block out water or snow. The material is durable and not super noisy. The pockets are roomy but they aren’t insulated. Great for a reasonably priced everyday coat, won’t be my adventure coat. ... show more

This jacket is wonderful! I spend a lot of cold windy days at a horse barn and this jacket is by far the best I’ve owned. It’s long to keep upper legs warm and easy to move in with layers on underneath. It washes great! It’s also a slimmer cut so dosent look bulky, I would recommend.
