So far the sun shade has been great. We've had several days of high winds and it has stretched but no tears or signs of wear. I suggest ordering a little smaller than your space to allow for stretching and use turn-buckles to keep tightening it. We ordered 10x20 for an 11x22 space and it's perfect. Sunshade came in next day with a custom measurement. Packaging was great. The color was not what I expected but that happens often on sites. It is very well made. Strong end hooks as well. As for installation. You will need a minimum of 2 adults not afraid of heights. You will also need to purchase a sunshade install kit. Please be sure to order one with 4 turnbuckles. Also, please research how to install these properly. You need to make sure it slopes enough to allow rainfall to run off and not collect in the center adding more weight. I am very satisfied and in love with my back patio now that I have a sunshade. My surrounding neighbors all came to ask me what we installed. They all say it looks sharp! ... show more

Ordered a custom 7 ft. by 24 ft. sun shade. Looks to be well made and strong. Them main issue that I have is that there is only a total of 4 connection points (one at each corner). So if you can imagine connecting this thing (that is 24 feet long) with only the 4 corners, you can imagine what happens. It quickly goes from a rectangle shape to a strange curved inward shaped. For that length, I would think AT LEAST another pair of loop connections in the middle, but more likely another 4 holes spaced evenly. Once you put it up with only the 4 corners tied back, it curves inward so much that you lose a bunch of coverage. Pretty disappointing for paying over $120 for this item. ... show more

I ordered a 10 x 20. I received an 8 x 20 even though the box says 10 x 20. Return window closed 2 months ago. I was still working on project and wasn’t ready to install at the time I received it. This monsoon summer put a hurting on my time table. Other than that it does block the sun and would look nice but being too short it’s useless. If you order this check your measurements immediately. Now I have to order another one but I’ll be ordering from someone different ... show more

Not enough grommets to make it easier to install. You need (2) people to install this things under light windy conditions. A complete kit should come together with it (Turnbuckles, Steel cables, wall anchors etc) had to go 3 times to the hardware store to buy what i need it to secure it safer.

It's durable. It lets the air through so it doesn't flop in the breeze. it shades the sun without blocking out all the light. It looks great and works great. But...what's the one thing you'd never expect from modern capitalism? It's bigger than advertised! Mine was supposed to be 10' by 16'. It was 10'6'' by 17'. That would be fine, except the posts were set for 10 x 16, maybe a little bigger, but this one is so much bigger it's loose. You never expect something to be bigger than advertised. Seems durable and easy to use very well-made. I’ve got a stung up pretty tight and it is lasted through its first full summer of Texas heat and has been through quite a few high wind storms so far with no issues. I used turnbuckles at a couple of corners to make it easier to take down or put up but I haven’t moved it and it’s still quite tight. Definitely not waterproof but doesn’t droop.
