Each corner ends with stainless steel D-ring for easy hanging, extra heavy stitching to help the D-rings strongly attached to the shade sail.
  • INSTALLATION GUIDE: Installation hardware kits are required and sold separately, each D-ring will require one cable rope (DO NOT use nylon ropes, they break easily!!). Connect the other ends of cables to existing poles, trees or wall with shade sail hardware kits, high quality ColourTree hardware kits and cables are strongly recommended for best performance and appearance.

This is a nice sunshade for the money. It comes exactly as sized so be sure your mounting area allows extra room to pull it tighter in the furure. It WILL stretch noticably over a short time, especially if water is able to pool during a downpour.

We bought this sun shade 3 years ago, so going on our fourth summer using it, and it has endured sun, rain, some strong wind, and cold of winter; and it is as good as the day we received it. We do take it down if we notice super strong winds or really heavy rains (we know it will stretch it), and use in the winter also but take down if it’s going to snow (Minnesota.) ... show more

Tried a sun sail shade for the first time on the deck of a new home. Smart move. The deck gets direct afternoon sun and the kitchen windows that face out to the deck let in lots of sun and heat. This product dramatically reduced the sun and heat on the deck and in the kitchen. I used small pieces of chain (98 cents per foot at Lowe’s), carabiners, and turnbuckles to attach the corners. It’s nice but the middle is droopy despite being tight. Also it’s not rainproof but I didn’t think about that before hand, it’s not a big concern, I just thought someone might want to know that.
