Finally a quality heat protectant and hair spray combined in one. Basically does everything it claims. Smell is not overwhelming like most hair sprays that have you choking on the fumes. No icky residue, fine mist very easy to work with. Just want to mention it works so well that some may want to do a trial styling first. I curled my fine hair tightly as usual expecting curls to naturally fall and be combed out easily for more natural looking wavy curls, but they stayed very barrel shaped and I look like a victorian doll at beauty pageant. They retained a springy bounce when you pull on them as shown in review videos. It's good to know that it has good staying power, flexibility and memory so you don't have to use 10 different toxic products and sprays at several different points in styling. The Oribe texturizing spray is great for it's purpose but shouldnt be used before heat tools and doesn't have the same results (I tried). I am a 60 YO female, crawling out of the depths of menopause. My hair is a couple of inches past my collarbone. My hair is fine but it is super wavy and I have a ton of it. If I brush it while dry I will resemble a shrub. In the summer I was, wrapped in a towel and then threw it in a clip because I live in Virginia and it is too hot to mess with it. I finally opted to return to my hairdresser and have her deal with it. She cut in long layers in hopes of getting the weight off. Great cut. Now I have many options. I did so much research on how to curl, air dry, straighten, etc. It was overwhelming. I have zero desire to spend an hour doing my hair. What I finally decided on for fall and winter is to wash, blow dry with a round brush, straighten, and then quickly run a curling iron slightly at the ends of the layers just to give a curl towards my face. I found this product through a video demo by the company. I thought, sure all hype to sell the product. I was never so wrong. It is like magic. I could not believe what I was seeing by the volume you get from a light spray of this stuff. It is insane. I have very fine naturally curly hair and I absolutely love this stuff. It has given me the body and the fluff that I need and it’s a loose bouncy hole. Part of it could be the cut. I don’t know. This texturizing spray lives up to its name. I have fine/thin hair. When you use this you do get texture. However, the hold falls out after a couple of hours and you can fluff it up with your fingers to get volume. However, you have to keep fluffing it up. I hate the way it makes my hair feel the next day. When I use a flat iron on my hair the next day, the hair just kind of lays there and you feel like you are damaging your hair. Love this product. I've tried it with just spraying at the roots and I have also used it by spraying directly on to the curl while I still have curling iron in. Really gives good volume and helps to hold the curl. If you're lazy like me and don't like to wash your hair for 4-5 days it does tend to build up. I've started brushing it out in the evenings and that helps. But such a good product! ... show more
