This is a very easy to use laundry bag for my 10 year old to hold, and carry her laundry back and forth to the washer/dryer. The handles are not too thin so it's easy to carry even when full and does appear to be holding up well. It is not a super sturdy material but for the cost it's just fine and we have had no problems with it. I didn't remember seeing a pocket in the description but there is one pocket on one side (picture attached) which would be nice if you needed to carry or separate some items. I wouldn't feel comfortable putting a large laundry detergent bottle in there but a smaller one or maybe those small laundry bags to put delicate clothes in - things like that would fit nicely. Overall a nice, inexpensive way for kids to learn to do their laundry without taking up a lot of space or making it hard to carry. I also like that I can easily see at a glance how full it is so I remember to remind them to do their laundry! ... show more

I really wanted to like this product, but it didn't hold up in the long run. The wire came through the covering in two places (see photos.) There are runs in the fabric from who knows what. (See photos) (The runs were from my use/wear and tear - the bags weren't received that way.) I liked the color and the handles, but I had bought another brand from a different manufacturer that held up much better. That being said, I was able to use the bags for a while before that happened, Let's face it - laundry is heavy. I don't feel that I overloaded the bag, but I did fill the bag to capacity. If a stronger fiber and a stronger fabric construction had been used, this bag would have held up. Instead, the wire supports are ripping through the bag. I am here to find a replacement, but it won't be with this manufacturer (see photo.) On the plus side, I love that it collapses for storage and that the bag is lightweight. ... show more

    • Most durable pop-up hampers I've ever owned

I'm a huge fan of pop-up hampers, and I ordered a few sets of these several years ago. They were great. They were sturdy and lasted a long time before they started to show any wear and tear. After a great deal of use, I replaced them, opting for a less-expensive brand. Huge mistake. The other hampers were terrible and nothing more than a waste of money. After a few months of trying to make them work (which is difficult when the handles have fallen off and the metal frame has popped out...), I gave up and just ordered more of these. And just like their predecessors from a few years ago, they are great. Phew! I should have just stuck with these!!! ... show more

I have been using my old bulky plastic clothes hamper for years. It's always been annoying to try to carry it full of dirty laundry across the house to the washer/dryer area so instead, I stuff the laundry into a pillow case, and then after the clothes are dry, to dig them out of the dryer and hold them and bring them back to the bedrooms to fold. This new mesh hamper is awesome! I use it for dirty laundry, then, use the two strong handles and carry it to the washer/dryer area. Then, after the clothes are dry, I take them out of the dryer and back into the new mesh hamper. It folds/unfolds easily but I leave it open to toss the dirty laundry into. I think it is fabulous, inexpensive and very well made. I really love it and recommend it. You'll be surprised how much you can fit into it. ... show more

I ordered two of these. They are SO easy to fold up and don't take up too much space. They're pretty sturdy, seem to be made of a strong material. I love the side pockets. I use them to store my bras. Such a great price too for two of them.

I've had these pop up hampers for a couple of years and they are still functional. I use them weekly when doing laundry and they have held up well for the most part. One has some holes in the mesh from overloading, but it is still functional. They fold easily and can conveniently be tucked away. I will buy again when I need to replace them. ... show more

A cheap but really handy tall basket for laundry, 13-gallon recycling bags (add your own clips to keep bag open or dont use a bag), stuffed toys, linens, etc. It seems about twice as tall as it is wide, about as tall but a couple inches wider than a 13-gallon, tall kitchen garbage bag. Feels great for small spaces. Mesh is airy but not flimsy, at least not when first opened. Half-height side pocket is tight but handy. Colors we got, blue and white, are even and nice. Handles are attached better than i expected for something that costs so little. But mesh and frame rest right on floor, no feet to lift it up for airflow or keep bottom mesh clean. Don’t drag it. Don’t know yet how much the handles or frame lift. Probably not more than a loose single load. Don’t stuff clothes, toys, recycling, or garbage, just keep it loose. Seams are fine, a bit loose, but that might be good because the wire frame is very springy, and tight seams might rip. Be careful, follow instructions for opening, because it is packed well and will spring out at you if you ignore the instructions. ... show more
