Features

  • Yields Tastier, Less Acidic Coffee In just 12 to 24 hours, you get a smooth concentrate with more caffeine and 60% less acidic than traditionally brewed hot coffee. The glass coffee carafe has a flavor-locking lid to seal flavor and keep your drink fresh.
  • Larger Capacity At 1300mL, our coffee pitcher is 30% bigger than your regular 1000mL coffee brewer. It can yield up to 5 cups. Despite its volume, our cold brew maker fits perfectly inside the compartment of your fridge door.
  • With Multi-use Mesh Cold Brew Filter Its non-rusting, metal-free mesh cold brew coffee filter doubles as a loose leaf tea brewer. You can also prepare your fruit-infused water using our coffee infuser and tea infuser pitcher.
  • No Messy Spills The cold brew pitcher has a detachable non-slip silicone base that acts as a cushion from accidental bumps. Additionally, its precision-pour spout shields your countertops from splatters.
  • Easy-to-clean Disassemble your cold coffee brewer in seconds. The mesh has a removable bottom cap, so you can quickly discard its contents. Its also a dishwasher safe glass pitcher, if you prefer a hands-free clean up.

  • Awesome for Cold Brew Coffee and Tea!
I love this pitcher! I make Cold Brew Coffee to have Ice Coffee in the mornings. I just used it this last weekend to make Cold Brew Iced Tea.Both taste great!! It is a glass pitcher with a non-slip bottom. It came very well packaged, in a plastic bag that was wrapped in foam all the way around, and put into a cardboard box. The filter seems very good quality. I put the grounds in it and the add water to the pitcher. I stir once in the middle of brewing in the fridge (recommended in the instructions). When it's done, I keep the lid on and just twist to turn it just off to the side of the spout, and it pours out just fine. (Doing it this way is also stated in the instructions. Doing it this way will definitely keep grounds out of your drink with NO problem! ) I really like this pitcher. It is super easy to clean. And I Brew it starting late morning/ afternoon, letting it sit over night, so it's ready in the morning. I expect it to last years, given the quality! But if my kids or husband ever broke it (since it is glass), I wouldn't hesitate to buy another!! It is definitely a GREAT buy for the money! ... show more

  • Coffee Bear
I found this product by accident. One of the best things I have purchased from Amazon hits all the marks: easy to clean, easy to use, and great flavor. I like that the coffee bear does not occupy much room in the fridge and can fit on a shelf or side door. Perfect for those who love to set and forget for a little while. The flavor is excellent, and I can get about four and a half 8 oz—Mason jars out of this container. You can take apart and clean every part of this product. It is plastic but surprisingly sturdy. The inner part is a substantial mesh—a must-buy for coffee lovers. ... show more

  • So great, we bought 3!
Excellent home cold brewer for coffee! Very durable, easy to clean and easy to use. The build quality is great, but we have snapped the lid handle on one of our brewers. The seal is definitely not water tight, but does the job if you are careful. If you don't want any grounds making it into your final brew, use a secondary filter. The Coffee Bear by itself keeps grounds contained, but we've found that some tend to make it into the water if you aren't super careful when loading the filter. We've found that placing a metal chopstick down the center of the filter basket soaks the water into the grounds quicker as we pour. ... show more

  • Nice, with Caveats...
I like this brewer enough and will use it regularly. The quality of the glass carafe, it's rubber ring on the bottom and slightly larger size compared to all of the others on the market for this style right now are the reasons I chose this Coffee Panda one particularly. Things I like about it: it's a strong, attractive carafe. It feels balanced carrying from counter to refrigerator while full and even half full. All the parts fit together nicely so is easy to take apart to clean and put back together. Things I don't like: While the lid is cute and clear and fits snugly with a simple push down (nice rubber seal to keep it in place), the carafe wasn't designed for the lid to make it air-tight once on. At the pouring spout, there is a large gap, allowing air to enter (so my coffee is open to any food smells in refrigerator) . It would definitely spill if not carried very carefully to the refrigerator and one must be careful with the initial pouring of each full batch. The spilling part doesn't concern me, since I am the only person in the house ever using it. However, hubby's been warned to not knock it but to move it gently over if it's blocking what he needs to get to in the refrigerator. The only other thing is I feel like the mesh part of the filter is rather fragile. I plan to treat it very gingerly when rinsing it after each use. My first batch of coffee is in the refrigerator right now, so haven't washed it yet (beyond rinsing it before first use). As for the coffee itself, that has nothing to do with the brewer. You simply find the right ratio of coffee to water to time (6 to 72 hours) brewed, and you have an amazing cup of hot or iced coffee. So one cannot say, "this brewer makes a great cup of coffee.' ALL brewers will. Even a plain mason jar will. The reviews on these should be about the quality of the parts and ease of use/cleaning. I bought this to have a smaller brewer on hand. I normally use a huge glass pickle barrel type jar (3-gal I think) and flour sack cloth for the filter), especially in summer or when I'm having a party. I will enjoy the ease of using this smaller one for personal coffee needs. I really want to say that the founders @ Coffee Panda, Amanda and Justin, have been awesome (a word I don't use often). My brewer arrived with a broken lid (really should have been shipped in a box instead of just the thin product box). They were super apologetic and shipped out a new lid immediately. Hubby and I chuckled because the tiny, light weight lid was wrapped over-kill, waaaaay better than the entire carafe (like a penny triple wrapped in bubble wrap and a nice thick box). The kindness they showed in their emails was refreshing and was extra appreciated because during all of that, I was readying to go visit my brother who was in the hospital after having a horrendous tongue cancer surgery. Obviously Amanda and Justin couldn't have known that. But it was just nice not having to hassle with a bad company's attitude or other strangenesses while having to handle communicating a simple issue that wasn't a big problem. So I give them a 10-star review! But, this is about this particular item ;-). I wish their company great success! (And I hope they eventually make an air-tight version of this carafe) ... show more

  • My first experiment was good!
I am just sampling my first try at making cold brew. DO coarsely grind beans. I have no grounds in my finished coffee, just a small, very fine little bit of "sediment". I ground then weighed the ground coffee using 100 grams. I filled my pot to 1/3 full of water before putting on the filter. I filled the filter with 1/4 of the grounds, them stated adding water. Stirred. Added more grounds. Added more water and stirred. Added the rest of the grounds. Finished filling with water. Stirred. My first batch set for 18 hours in the fridge. It is very good. Smooth! I believe it will be that much better if given the full 24 hours. I purchased this pot for a couple of reasons. It has a rubber ring around the base protecting the glass. The filter has a removable bottom making it easy to clean. It has a good profile and fits on a door shelf in the fridge. The price was not the cheapest, but certainly not the highest. I have serious acid issues. I used a decaf Verena Street. It's good, but I think I will do a "half caff" at some point. So far, I am very pleased, right out of the box. Just pay attention and coarsely grind beans. If you don't have a scale, measure 1 + 1/4 cups of beans to grind. As you get the hang of it, you can scale up or down to your liking. ... show more
