They’re nice and sturdy, look great in my kitchen, and comfortable. Reasonably priced, kinda sorta easy to put together (it’s better with a friend) and even though they look kinda light weight/flimsy in the pictures, they hold my excessively large rear end just fine and dandy. Hey… I know I need to cut down on the second helpings of Twinkies, but until I do, these chairs are going to hold me just fine. The chairs are really pretty and the quality is really good. However, for me, they were very difficult to put together. Trying to follow the simple instructions was easy but actually trying to screw the front and back of the chairs on had me ready to send them back. One of the back brackets was at a straight angle and the other bracket was angle out and towards the center on both chairs. Very frustrating! I gave them 4 stars only because of the difficulty of putting them together. ... show more

    • Pieces Don’t Line Up
These look great, but good grief what a serious pain to put together. If it was just one, I’d let it go. But ALL FOUR, the backrest holes did not line up with the bars. And not just an easy “scootch it over and it’s good.” In theory, these should take *maybe* 10 minutes each to put together. It took over an hour to put together two, and almost all that time was on the last two-three screws. I’ve currently given up on the final chair and will tackle it when I have another person to help me pull two directions at once while also securing bolts. ... show more

    • I love my new chairs!
The colour is a bit deeper/richer in person, which is perfect. I like the fabric, but I knew I'd be covering them so they stay nice. I'll uncover them for company. They happen to also be very comfortable! Always a good feature in a chair. They are slightly low-backed, but still supportive and they don't poke you. The padding isn't super thick- it's just right. Perfect for eating, working, playing games at a table, etc. This isn't an overly cushy chair. It keeps you alert, but not by being painful. The chairs weren't hard to put together at all, but I would suggest having something like a low table or an ottoman to position the chair while you fasten everything. Their suggestion of tightening everything 50% until it's all assembled, then tightening it all to 100% is perfect. I will add that I tightened everything ~98% and then stood the chair up and sat on it to make sure everything was in place for the last 2%. It helped for a screw or two that felt tight, but were actually just askew. I appreciate that the legs have little adjustable feet in case it's a little wobbly (the chair, the floor, one leg's on a rug, etc.). My wife mentioned that they're perfect for the large-bottomed (me) and they are quite roomy on the seat. Also, the cat has already started to fight us for the chairs, so he likes them, too. ... show more
