  • Great price!
I did some research on similar products, and this one by far has the best price for the same level of ingredients.

  • Good probiotic blend with akkermansia muciniphila
This is a great blend of probiotics in a vegetarian capsule. The manufacturer recommends to take one capsule daily with a beverage, or to open a capsule and add the contents to water or juice. The product contains akkermansia muciniphila and is supposed to provide appetite control support, but it is hard for me to verify this claim yet, as I am not taking it for long enough as of now, and I was also taking a different probiotic just before this one. Will need a bit of time to see. In any case, this blend would be a much needed supplement to my diet with ingredients hard to find in other products. The product is vegan, non-GMO, soy-free, dairy-free, and gluten-free. It is made in USA, cGMP certified manufacturing, has a functioning website, phone number and an American address. Greatly recommended. ... show more

  • Solid little probiotics
As with every supplement, run this one by your doctor first to ensure that it's what you need and it's a healthy option for your individual body. With that said... This is a great little supplement for those of us on GLP1 medications. It's pretty common knowledge that a lot of medication can deplete you of needed minerals and whatnot -- GLP1's are no different. So I was excited to try this probiotic as a method for assisting my gut health. While I can't say that I noticed a ton of difference, as an individual who has chronic illnesses related to the gut and has taken probiotics of varying brands and potency over the years, I can say this is a decent one. The smell isn't terrible, the taste isn't terrible, the size of the capsules are fine. Standard probiotic in a nice, compact little case. ... show more

  • Probiotic with Possible Metabolic Health Benefits
I ordered Codeage GLP-1 Probiotic+ because research indicates the types of bacterial species it contains can have beneficial effects on metabolic health, such as insulin sensitivity and glucose regulation. Each 1 capsule daily serving contains a probiotic blend (500 Million AFU total) consisting of 166 million AFU Clostridium butyricum, 167 million AFU Akkermansia muciniphila, and 167 million AFU Bifidobacterium infantis, as well as 20mg chicory inulin which acts as a prebiotic. This product uses AFU (active fluorescent units) instead of CFU (colony forming units) to measure the number of viable microbes in a probiotic, which is more precise than CFU because it counts all viable cells in the formula, including cells that may not be culturable. I have been taking this probiotic daily for about two weeks and, although I have not experienced any adverse effects, I have not really noticed any positive effects either. The Amazon product page states that “Codeage GLP-1 Probiotic+ is manufactured in the USA with global ingredients in a cGMP-certified facility.” I always do my research on a supplement before ingesting it, and because this line leaves a lot of important information out, I went to Codeage’s website to try to find out more. The Codeage website is filled with a lot of attractive AI-generated images of models and flowery and empowering language, but nowhere could I find most of the substantive information I went there looking for. They do not state specifically where any of the ingredients for this product are sourced from. According to their website, they do conduct lab testing on their products: “We take quality control seriously, which is why we obtain a certificate of analysis (COA) for each batch of our products. A COA is a document that provides information about the quality, purity, and potency of the product, including the results of various tests performed on the product during the manufacturing process. These tests may include microbiological, chemical, and physical analyses, among others.” “By obtaining a COA with each batch of our products, we can ensure that we have access to the most accurate and up-to-date information about the quality and safety of our supplements.” However, they do not say whether or not the testing is conducted by an independent third party lab, or if the lab is ISO certified. For these reasons, I have deducted one star. Assuming its benefits will eventually be realized, I think ~$30 for a 3 month supply of this probiotic formula is a reasonable price. I hope you have found my unbiased review and photos of this product helpful. ... show more

  • Doesn't make me bloated
Sometimes when you start a new probiotic, bad things happen. I have used these a few times now and none of the ''bad'' things happened. I also do feel less craving while taking these. I am not sure how that is possible, but I think it is a placebo effect perhaps. The ingredients in this look clean and it is made is USA which a great plus. The jar is weirdly large for the amount of pills you get. However, there are 90 pills in this, which is a 3 month supply. So the value on this product is quite good. It contains various probiotics and also chicory which is a prebiotic (ie feeds the good bugs in your gut). ... show more

  • False advertising
This product is supposed to aid in digestion and activate the GLP-1 enzymes that help one feel full. In fact, it works for about 5 minutes comparable to eating an extra potato chip when you’re full. The name of the probiotic is a marketing ploy, and should not be considered when purchasing a product to aid in digestion. If Dr. Oz was still peddling snake oil on his tv show, he’d be all over this product suckering us into sending him more of our cash. ... show more
